This is a small hotel conveniently located just a block away from Taipei 101. It small but enough for our needs. Some like to stay in hotels and enjoy their amenities; we however like to go out and enjoy the city so this place suit us well.

The hotel was easy to find and the staff were friendly. The first room I went to was not well cleaned, but the staff quickly found me another room that was well cleaned. No complaints! I’d stay here again. Location was close to Taipei 101 (easily walkable), and a lot of great restaurants nearby. Great for shopping too.

The stay itself was decent, the bathroom however was not great. There were stains and streaks of mold. Worst of all, the shower door was not able to fully close, causing water to spray everywhere outside of the stall. This took away a star. Then there's the next part, which was how dishonest this hotel was. When I first booked the stay, I was told I have 24 hours to cancel and still be refunded the full amount. It just so happens that I had to cancel so I can add an additional day to my stay. Then for the next 5 days that I haven't received the refund, I thought it was just a processing delay from the hotel but then more than a week passed and I still haven't received it. So I called Expedia and turns out the hotel was withholding the refund from me for some unknown reason. After some investigation, it was confirmed that I did cancel the order well within the 24 hour period so a full refund was issued through Expedia. For a hotel to do this to their customers is just UNACCEPTABLE so for this, I took off two stars. If you're looking to book a stay at this hotel, do keep this in mind and don't just assume the refund will be processed automatically. Best to always contact Expedia as they will be the ones to back you on their promises.

Cleaning condition was not good and peeling from painting screeding near the window. Dust was found under the bed. No hand soap is provided. However, staff is helpful and friendly and stay patience as can see they are shortage in manpower. Also, there is smell inside the lifts even with air fresheners and guess smells are from lift pit …maybe underground water smell.

Great location. Had a decent sized room on high floor with view of 101.

Stinky lift, disorganized reception, poor breakfast though the extra charge substantial.

The hotel was ok. Close to the metro station. Hotel could definitely be updated. Just barely average hotel. But did what i needed for the money
