Here's a polished version of your review: The Lively was our first hotel on our trip through Japan, and it certainly set the bar high. Even after staying at several other hotels, it remained one of our favourites. The hotel was clean throughout, and the staff were kind, welcoming, and attentive. Breakfast was one of the best we had during our trip, offering something a little different from the standard buffet breakfasts found at many hotels. The only minor issue was finding the hotel on arrival. Apple Maps led us slightly astray, adding about 10 extra minutes to our walk. Once we switched to Google Maps, the hotel was much easier to locate. Overall, a fantastic stay with excellent service, great facilities, and a memorable breakfast experience.

Excellent in every way

We had a fantastic stay and would happily return. The hotel was spotless, modern, and very well maintained, with friendly staff and a great atmosphere throughout. What really stood out was the range of amenities and activities available. We loved the happy hour, pool table, rooftop bar, live music, and unique kaleidoscope displays that gave the hotel a fun and relaxing vibe. There were also plenty of complimentary amenities, which made it feel like great value. The lounge area was one of our favourite spots, with unlimited coffee and tea and comfortable seating to relax after a day of exploring. The restaurant was also excellent. Unlike many hotels where you only sleep and leave, this was somewhere we genuinely enjoyed spending time in because there was always something to do. The only downside was the location, which wasn’t the most convenient for regularly visiting Dotonbori and some of Osaka’s main tourist areas. Overall, a clean, fun, and unique hotel with excellent facilities and atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Great location, close enough to walk to most activities but far enough to be away from the crowds. Nice and helpful staff as well.

We had a wonderful stay at The Lively Osaka Honmachi. The hotel is modern, stylish, and very clean. Its location is excellent, with easy access to everything Osaka has to offer, and the train station is within walking distance, making it very convenient to get around the city. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The common areas are well maintained, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming and vibrant. The only minor downside is that the room does not have a closet. Other than that, our stay was perfect. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a modern, well-located, and comfortable hotel in Osaka.
