2 huge cockroaches in our condo! Dusty!
Their ad stated kitchenette but what kitchenette?! Not one solitary spoon! All this kitchenette had was a sink! no microwave, not even a kettle to boil water!!
Their staff person entered my condo without permission, not even a knock!!! Good thing I wasn't naked coming out of the bathroom!!! Will NOT RECOMMEND this ZPad Residence to my enemy!!!

Very affordable, but not worth steep discount when compared to other accommodations nearby. The dormitory/apartment setting is very noisy as the rooms are not adequately insulated, and the property is in disrepair. One of the rooms I reserved had an inoperable toilet, and the shower head was disconnected from the hose.
If you are a backpacker on a strict budget and are used to hostel-type accommodations this may be tolerable, especially if you plan to spend most of your time off property. But something much more accommodating (with secure entry, included breakfast, working amenities) in downtown Tacloban will only cost you 1000 PHP / 15 USD more per night.

You get what you pay for, I guess. However, I was expecting to at least cook food since we had a small kitchen - nope, not allowed to cook. Then we purchased food from outside so we could have something to eat in early mornings, but the ants got to it before we did. Also, the bathrooms are tiny, the TV in the "living room" doesn't have any channels so it was useless. We just booked this place because it is close to St Peter's chapel so we could attend a funeral. We would be asleep during the day, but constant knocking/renovation was getting annoying.

Great hotel and staff. The rock-concert noise level of the surrounding area is an issue.

The hotel was nice, except for the bathroom, where I could smell the sewer from the bed, but aside from that, I have no complaints.
