While the room and bathroom were incredibly spacious, the surrounding area was not as family-friendly as the hotel description made it see, there are bars and adult clubs right outside the main entrance. Additionally, the breakfast buffet was quite limited and lacked flavor, and the staff was unfortunately not very welcoming or helpful when it came to assisting with the luggage forwarding service.

Great hotel overall

This was a nice, clean hotel with friendly staff and a nice ambiance, at a good price. It is central and walkable to some good shopping areas and the subway. Note there was what looked like a strip club or 'hostess club' directly across the street. We had picked this hotel as it was close to the train station, but later realized the Shinkansen goes to a different station (to Shin Osaka station and not Osaka Station) so it ended up not being as convenient as we hoped. Our fault but just be aware if you are also taking the Shinkansen that it is a subway ride away. The breakfast buffet was nice with a variety of japanese and western options, though for some reason there was also a bowl of plastic fruit on the buffet, which was disappointing for someone who had seen it across the room and been excited to have a fresh fruit. Overall it is a nice, clean hotel with lovely rooms and staff. Just take care to research whether the area is what you are looking for.

Close walk to Umeda/Osaka station. Clean room. Easy check-in and check-out. Friendly staff. I did not eat breakfast at the hotel.
