I’ve stayed at multiple Mimaru properties and was disappointed with this experience. The staff were wonderful, but the room smelt funny, the air conditioning wasn’t great (it left the room humid), the room was dark and the bedding didn’t feel as nice. Many of the nearby stations weren’t pram friendly or easy to get to (compared to other parts of Tokyo). I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Pokemon hotel room is tiny, especially considering it’s intended for a family of 4. Our first night, we got in late and were unpacking our bags and settling in and a hotel staff knocked on our door to say we were being too loud. It was maybe 9 pm. Good location though. I think the Pokemon features could have been more tastefully done though.

The staff was very friendly and kind. We didn’t have a lot of interaction and that was ok. They were quick and helped with anything I asked. Well-spoken English. The rooms were incredible and spacious. We really loved this hotel and wished we booked it again on our way out of Tokyo. It was amazing.
