FantasticStayed with family
Quirky hotel-floating on the river, great accessible location, with restaurants and a supermarket very close by. Room was basic but clean and comfortable. Staff on check-in were very friendly. Didn't have breakfast here but looked like there was plenty of choice.

We booked Floats for my 30th birthday trip to Rotterdam as it looked like an interesting place to stay. When we arrived, the room we were booked into was having some maintenance work done so we were given another terraced room directly overlooking the reception, so we decided we would wait for the original room to be ready. This took around an hour in total, and we were offered a free drink, however all guests are offered a free welcome drink so this did not feel like extra compensation. The receptionist was friendly enough, she acknowledged it was my birthday when checking my passport but no extra effort was made, even while we wait for an hour for our room to be ready.
On the morning we checked out the receptionist knocked on the door to hurry us along, which we thought was quite rude.
The room was nice, the terraces overlook each other so be aware of this when booking. It lacked some basics like hair conditioner. Our room was also close to the street so there was some noise throughout the night.
Location was really good for us to walk everywhere, and about 5/10 minutes from the tram. Overall it was an okay stay, but we wouldn't choose to stay here again.

Excellent location. First time staying on a floating barge.
Reception/concierge was very helpful with directions, maps, calling cab to central station.

It was all clean and staff were friendly. Fun and qwerky place to stay.
I wanted to give a particular mention to the barman who was there on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th Jan - embarrassingly we forgot him. But as seasoned travellers, we were very impressed by his attitude to go above and beyond. Wine recommendations, local tourism ideas. Really 5* - was the cherry on top of a great weekend.

An oasis of calm in the bustle of Rotterdam. Cabins were snug, warm and cosy. A really good way to experience the City without the City!

GoodSolo stay
Given the choice, I’m glad I did. Also, love the punny name! I had a really good four night stay here. My room, on the lower level, was quiet and comfortable. My porthole was aimed at the canal wall but, when the tide was high, I had a view of the street.
Being a cabin, while spacious, there were a few things to navigate, like the two posts near the window, one of which I ended up head-butting as bent down to pick up something! Ah, the life of a sailor ;)
The room had a work table, TV, free WiFi, kettle with tea & coffee, air-conditioning, block out curtains and wardrobe. It lacked a luggage rack and fridge.
The washroom had a surprisingly large shower with a great water pressure, a wall-attached hairdryer, quality toiletries and lush towels.
The location was excellent with all parts of the city within easy walking distance. It’s only three blocks from the Markthall and the food and groceries therein.
Breakfast is available onsite, however, I chose to eat out. I was taking a night ferry to the UK and they happily stored my bags for the day.
This was fun way to visit Rotterdam for the first time and I would stay again.
