Overall, if you prefer not to drive yourself or are concerned about fatigue from self-driving, this three-day itinerary is highly recommended. From airport transfers to the specific activities in between, transportation is provided throughout the entire trip. We were picked up directly from our hotel each day, which saved us a lot of hassle with coordinating transportation. The hotel arranged was a 4-star in the city center, which was standard but excellent due to its convenient location for getting around. Although the guides rotated over the three days, each guide was responsible, and their commentary and insights along the way were very thorough. Additionally, the aurora borealis experience included in the itinerary was a free bonus. Before departing, we asked customer service and were informed that it would only be arranged if the aurora index reached 5 that night, so seeing it was not guaranteed. We went into it with no expectations. Fortunately, the index reached 5 during our visit. Although it wasn't very clear due to weather and other factors, we still considered it a successful aurora chase. For travelers who are unable to drive for various reasons, choosing this tour is a great option.

They went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable, shared interesting information about the places we visited, and created a fun and welcoming atmosphere. The itinerary covered Tasmania’s beautiful highlights, and we enjoyed the stunning scenery and unique experiences. It was a great way to explore the island without having to worry about the planning. I actually booked the tour because of the aurora offer in the description. Unfortunately, until the end of the tour, the metric for aurora sighting was poor and we ended up not going for the sighting at all. Despite that unlucky part, this tour gives amazing experience for travelers who plan to visit Tasmania for the first time. We don’t speak Chinese at all, but tour guides always give English explanation in addition to pre-recorded English audio guide of each destination. If you are hunting for aurora sighting, make sure you’ve checked the possibility of seeing the aurora Australis before booking. Otherwise, just enjoy the beauty of Tasmania as covered by this tour.

A very good experience, went to many places, such as Mount Wellington and Bruny Island. Was lucky enough to see wild kangaroos, the scenery was very beautiful. Ate oysters on Bruny Island, very fresh.

The itinerary was well-paced and not too rushed, perfect for a relaxing day. When we arrived at Market Square, it wasn't a Saturday, so there was no market. Our guide, Xiao Ming, recommended the fish and chips at Mures Lower Deck, but I personally found them to be just average. Those who are interested can give it a try.

One of the best decision that I made during my stay in Tasmania. I was thinking of renting a car but doubt it as I do solo travel. Turns out with this three days tour I can take a rest and enjoying the view from the mini bus without having to worry about direction, restrictions or checking maps. all of the guides were so nice and knowledgeable. Our guide Mark was very fun and engaging. We had a blast travelling along with him and learned heaps of fun facts and whatnot. If you’re a first timer in Hobart and wants to make the most of your trip, we highly recommend to book a tour with Tassie Tours.

I had such a great time! Well paced, great scenery, a good workout for all ages and best of all a really friendly, knowledgeable and sincere guide who also skilfully drove us around. Loved all his stories and jokes. Never had such a pleasant tour, nothing to complain about. Pack warm clothes!
