Things to do in The War Memorial of Korea

Kenny the tour guide is awesome! I had an amazing experience on this tour and highly recommend him!! He made the day so much fun and presented a lot of interesting facts. I came out of it with a wealth of information and photos haha!

Our group of four joined the Namsan Valley standard group tour. Since we had foreign friends with us, we chose an English-speaking guide. Our female guide, Anna, was very professional, explained everything clearly, smiled throughout the tour, and was very humorous, making the experience enjoyable. The itinerary included Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bugak Palgakjeong Pavilion, Bukchon Hanok Village, the Korea Ginseng Museum, the War Memorial of Korea, Jogyesa Temple, Tapgol Park, and more. For lunch, she took us to Gwangjang Market to eat delicious Korean pancakes and shop for souvenirs. Finally, at our request, she dropped us off at Seoul Catholic Cathedral, giving us another spot for photos. The tour price was reasonable and included all admission fees and a comfortable air-conditioned mini-bus. If you have limited time during your trip, we highly recommend this one-day tour.

Ella was an incredible tour guide/historian and one of the loveliest people! She’s insightful and you can tell her presentation of Korea’s long history comes naturally and proudly! Her tour is so good that I am on the lookout for a Korean history and war books so I can delve even further into my Korean studies!! Thank you so much Ella!!

Bill Hwang was an excellent tour guide. Very passionate and thorough, answered my questions along the way, really nice person! The tour itself was great, I loved it, learned a lot and experienced a lot. Would absolutely recommend, it’s a stress free way of experiencing the DMZ. Would do again in the future.

A fascinating DMZ experience with the best guide! Visiting the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) near the North Korean border was absolutely fantastic, largely thanks to our guide, Evan. He took perfect care of us from the very first moment, and his services exceeded all our expectations. I would like to highlight a few things that made this trip so special: - Great and safe driving: The ride was incredibly smooth and relaxing. Evan is a true professional behind the wheel, making you feel completely safe. - Engaging explanations: He explained everything in detail and very clearly. Thanks to him, the entire history and current situation surrounding North Korea made perfect sense, and we learned a lot of interesting facts. - Friendly attitude: Evan was incredibly nice, helpful, and positive the entire time. He managed to create a truly great atmosphere. For my wife and me, it was an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend Evan as a guide. Thanks again for the excellent service!

The Lady was amazing, if you are in Seoul definitely recommend you this place, we choose the group for 2 for our colors, jewelry analysis and suit for my husband. She started scanning our skin to learn our tone, then proceed to explained was make foundation and toner will be better for us. After that we start with the color analysis, jewelry, make up, hair color and suit(husband). And after having the results she give you a all pamphlet with all the information.✨️ Note: Foreigner friendly and speak English

This was a fantastic experience and so worth the cost. We were picked up at our Hotel and did more things then we would have on a bus. Mr Park was fantastic and extremely nice. Additionally he taught us a lot of the history and gave us a ton of information.

Awaresome experience on the pub crawl on Thursday in Hongdae.i did the same pub crawl last year. Our hosts were great. Visited 3 bars plus one bar that does karoke on a Thursday night. highly recommend to do a pub crawl while in Seoul
