Lake Tekapo tours

Upon arriving at the stargazing spot, the staff had each member lie down on a lounge chair and provided a thick blanket (the temperature was only a few degrees, very cold). The stargazing program was very fun and interesting. The guide was nice and upbeat. We rode the bus to a stargazing place, and when we looked up, the sky was full of stars. It was very beautiful.

The whole tour was amazing, although the itinerary was a bit hectic. Except for Mt. Cook, the other stops were quite short — just enough time to snap a few photos before moving on to the next spot. It’s understandable since the destinations are quite far from Christchurch. They also provided free lunch and snacks (chips), which was a nice touch

Driver is nice and friendly. He was trying very best to accommodate everyone’s need. We always feel stress free and being taken good care when travel with cheeky kiwi!

I went there for Mount Cook, but I also got to eat salmon and see the lake, so it was a great value with lots of activities! We had a transfer along the way, and both of our guides were wonderful people.

I really love the trip. We had enough time to take lots of pictures without feeling rushed at every landmark. Unfortunately, I went the wrong way so I didn’t see the glacier. Overall I would say the tour guy is really knowledgeable.
