The location is quite remote, and the shuttle service to the station only runs until 11:45 AM. Although the hotel is large, most of its facilities are not open for use, making it large but impractical. However, the surrounding scenery is beautiful!

Located in the heart of Yamashiro Onsen, directly across from the 1300-year-old Ko-soyu (which guests of Kaga can use for free), the area feels a bit run-down, and the onsen town isn't as lively as one might imagine. The hotel itself is small but exquisite, which I quite liked.
