National Museum of Natural Science tours

The trip was amazing! Vaness was knowledgeable and accomodative. The trip was smooth with the guide’s driving and explanation throughout. Vaness made the experience so much more enjoyable with his easygoing personality and genuine enthusiasm. Itinerary was well-planned and it didn’t feel rushed; there’s ample time to explore the different attractions and enjoy the scenery. The only tiny shortfall was the accomodation at Alishan which was a little dated, but most of the accommodations around that area are about the same. Overall, would recommend if you are looking for a short well planned trip out of Taipei.

My husband, my mum, and I attended this tour together. Our tour guide was Shine. My husband and I are long-time residents of Taichung and had never heard of the history of Nantun District before, which is what made us interested in this tour. Shine did an amazing job explaining about and showing us the little tidbits of architectural and cultural history that still remain in the area. Our favorite part was comparing old photos to the exisitng streets to see what’s changed and what’s still there today, and also the blacksmith’s forge. We’ll definitely be coming back to buy some gardening tools! I personally also really loved the jute tea. We thought the desserts from 林金生香 WISH LIN 百年糕餅店 were beautiful and bought some cakes from them after the tour to enjoy later with tea.

The tour was great. The tour schedule includes essential tourist spots in Taichung. It's a half-day tour, so you could visit Shenggang Village in the morning before joining. Gaomei Wetland is really windy, so I'd recommend anyone with long hair to tie it up before visiting. Although it's a half-day tour, the itinerary is well-packed. It was great that the tour included places I wanted to see in Taichung, so I didn't have to visit them separately. Since the tour started in the afternoon, I also had time to explore Shenji New Village near the meeting point. The weather was good, so I enjoyed the beautiful scenery overall. Even though it's an English and Chinese-speaking tour, they played a Korean translation for us, which made the experience even more comfortable. The wind at Gaomei Wetland is strong enough to spin the wind turbines. I recommend that women with long hair tie it up. Am I the only one who thinks of G.O.D.'s 'Road' when walking through Gaomei Wetland?

We had a great experience during this tour, thank you to our guide, “8166 Aga😁”. The schedule and full itinerary was followed completely. even though we don’t understand chinese and he doesn’t understand english, he made sure we are taken cared of and are not left behind during the whole activity. the travel time was a bit tiring but the experience was so worth it. very memorable trip!

Shine was an excellent guide. I can tell he is very passionate about sharing his wealth of knowledge about the history of Taichung, especially the buildings. Do this tour if you enjoy learning the history of the place you are visiting that you wouldn’t get just walking around by yourself. The Ubike ride itself was very easy - all flat. I also enjoyed the dessert stops for bubble tea and pineapple green bean taro on ice - excellent on a hot day! Shine also took heaps of photos and edited and sent them to me same day!

The hotels were conveniently located near the sights, offering beautiful views. Our tour guide, Vanness, was very professional, attentive, and thoughtful. At each attraction, he provided detailed explanations of its history and special significance, and also thoroughly informed us about the best routes, photo spots, and optimal viewing locations. He was also very approachable, witty, and humorous. Not only could he flexibly adjust the itinerary as needed, but he also frequently chatted and laughed with us throughout the journey, sharing insights into Taiwan's unique cuisine and local customs in a lively way, which made the trip continuously entertaining. I highly recommend this tour!👍

the guide was by good. she speaks very good English and Korean. keen to answer all our questions. the rainbow village was very small nothing to see ong coloured wooden houses. but if your new it's OK to have 1 visit.

Team leader Xiaofeng, expert driver and guide, great photographer and editor sharing some stunning photos of us, made effort to communicate thru google translate (English) and hand signs, showing us the incredible Hehuan Mountain-Wuling, from the grasslands, sunrise, sea of clouds, the winding road, stunning flowers to amazing ginkgo and maple trees. He also let us eat sweet and fresh apples from the farm.
