I tried three different massage places, categorized by price as high, medium, and low. This one was the cheapest, but its location and the skill of the masseuse were absolutely on par with the other two. An elderly woman massaged me; she was incredibly strong and had excellent technique. It hurt so much I almost cried out! The stretching and pressure were the most intense of all three places, but afterward, my muscles felt the most relaxed. The ambiance was slightly less luxurious than Let's Relax and Diora; there were no aromatherapy scents or soft music, which is likely why the price was lower. Because my first experience was at Let's Relax, I gave it 5 stars as I had no comparison. After trying the cheaper and more expensive options, I would now only give it 3.5-4 stars. I would give both the most expensive, Diora, and this place, Lak, 5 stars.

I was guided by an experienced Thai-Chinese person who speaks Japanese. Besides learning about the historical background, it was great to have someone take photos for me, as my solo travel pictures tend to be mostly landscapes. Although it's the rainy season, it only drizzled occasionally, and there was no direct sunlight, making it comfortable. They even lent me an umbrella. On Sunday, the roads were clear, so we returned early. Lunch was a bit pricey, with tourist-level prices, but I didn't mind and enjoyed two beers with stir-fried morning glory in oyster sauce. Overall, it was a comfortable and good tour.

I received a Thai massage at Health Land Bangkok. I arrived in Bangkok early in the morning, so I booked and used their service in the early afternoon. It was very comfortable for my body, which was tired from the flight, and it was a great start to my trip. It was also nice that the place wasn't crowded at that time, allowing me to enjoy the treatment in a quiet environment. I visited several branches during my stay, and this one consistently offered reliable quality, which was reassuring. The prices are also relatively reasonable, and I think the appeal is being able to easily experience an authentic Thai massage. The interior was clean and had a calming atmosphere, allowing me to relax. The treatment itself was thorough, and I felt that the fatigue from my travels was completely relieved. It offers great value for money and is a recommended spa, even for first-time visitors.

Booking of slots on app was super easy and staff were very responsive. Place was super accessible as it was beside my hotel, beside BTS and easily identifiable. 4 hands massage was super relaxing, ambience was good, massage therapists were good, process wqs slightly different from Bali (as therapists here were focussing on top/middle and legs but Bali's were spliy between left and right) but this was still all good. Before and after snacks were good. Overall experience was good!

I was a bit worried that this discounted package might mean I'd get a new, inexperienced masseuse. This is because the amount of pressure I can tolerate varies greatly across my body; in some areas, just a light touch from the masseuse makes me yelp, while in others, she has to use all her strength for me to feel anything. She didn't slack off or waste time at all; I actually fell asleep during the exfoliation, which really surprised me! All in all, with high-priced massages like this, if you feel anything is lacking, you really need to communicate it to the masseuse yourself so you don't waste your money. After all, for Bangkok, this price point isn't cheap. Their official website has many other special packages and massage styles. I booked a 120-minute Thai massage on Klook, paid directly in RMB, and selected the service and time. It took only 5 minutes, so there was no need to worry about language barriers. The Thai massage techniques were very well-suited to my body. After two days of extensive walking, my calves and thighs were incredibly sore, but after the massage, I definitely felt more relaxed.
They will ask if the pressure is okay, and you can tell the masseuse if you need any adjustments to the pressure during the session.
Before the massage, you can also choose the pressure level. I selected 'normal,' which is a good choice for women, as it's a bit stronger than what you might experience in China.
For the 120-minute Thai massage, half the time is spent on the back and the other half on the front. It felt more relaxing than massages I've had in China, and the masseuse used their body weight to work on my muscles, which was fantastic!!!
