Lumut is commonly reached by car or bus from Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh, or other towns in Perak. Ferries to Pangkor Island depart from the Lumut or nearby ferry terminals depending on current operations.

Use taxis, ride-hailing where available, local buses, or your own car. Ferries are used for Pangkor Island, while a car is helpful for Teluk Batik and wider Manjung attractions.

Stay near the ferry terminal for Pangkor transfers, near the waterfront for seafood and sea views, or on Pangkor Island if your main goal is a beach holiday.
