Transport in Hualien

this 3-day pass helped me explore kaoshiung, taichung, and chiayi. saved a lot. and easy to use

Renting the scooter was very easy, although the staff only speak basic English. You’ll need to fill out a simple form with your name, address, and phone number. The scooter came with two helmets and two disposable plastic raincoats, which was a nice touch. It was also provided with a full tank of gas, so make sure to refill it before returning. The only downside was that the phone holder felt a bit old and worn. Overall, the scooter was in good condition—no issues with the engine, brakes, or tires. The shop is also conveniently located within a short walking distance from the train station

we booked this because its cheaper than hiring a private car but skeptical because its mandarin speaking. so we thought it will be alright since it will just follow an itinerary. but as soon as the driver arrives we were greeted with the most friendliest driver in Taiwan and he tries to speak in English. so that matter is not even a problem. he takes our photos too. so yes, this package is worth it. for future voucher buyer, i hope u manage to get Mr. Zhang as your driver. 4hrs is alright. we even hiked the trail at Takoro Gorge for an hour. highly recommended this one.

Boarded at Taichung and got off at Tainan. Lived up to its hype! Only hiccup was the misunderstanding at the beginning. When the train rolled up, i asked the staff standing outside the car door if it was okay to board already and he waved me away. I sat back down for a minute and then decided to show him my ticket. Upon seeing that, he let me through. They gave me a cup of water and a cookie once inside. The seats were spacious and super comfortable. Through the whole ride, you are free to get up and explore the other cars. At the front are two karaoke cars plus a kind of reception area where i was told about a free item i could redeem if i followed their instructions. Another freebie was a wrist strap that you could design yourself. I believe this was in two different cars towards the front as well. Well-worth the price! Willing to do this again next time!

The driver is very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. He is able to give useful suggestions for us to amend our itinerary to optimise our time. Very friendly and patient with kids too. Car is very spacious and clean.
