Transport in Xiamen

Just input dongdu ferry terminal on didi destination and arrive at least 1 hour before with your passport to exchange for your ferry ticket.

Good service. Drivers 张大家 and 林炎成 were punctual and friendly. They also helped us to take many photos and recommended good photo taking spots. In addition, they also help to fill in some information on the locations. 服务很好。司机张大家和林炎成准时又友善。他们还帮我们拍了很多照片，并推荐了一些不错的拍照地点。此外，他们还帮忙补充了一些景点信息。

Ordered for delivery to the hotel in Shanghai. Delivery was prompt by courier but no notification of parcel tracking and delivery time. Had to ask the hotel a few times to be able to get the cards. Other than that, cards were cute and usable.

We had a great time! Our driver was super helpful. We only expected a drive, but she actually gave us a lot of information and context about what we were seeing. Despite the post saying it included a visit to an old town, the driver changed the itinerary so we could see more Tolous, which were thankful, but have appreciated the heads up that the extra stop would mean not going to the old town. Or at least be given the choice to pay extra to not cut anything from the itinerary and add the extra stops. Anyway, this kind of misunderstandings can happen; we don’t speak Chinese and the driver didn’t speak English, so it’s actually remarkable how much of a conversation we were able to have along the way!

I had an amazing experience in Xiamen thanks to my driver/guide Ms 汪! From airport pickup to end, everything was well-organised, informative, and enjoyable. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and always went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and having a great time.
