Zhubei

The best time to visit Zhubei is from October to April, when Hsinchu County is cooler and more comfortable for walking around cultural districts and parks. Winter can be windy, while summer is hot and humid with occasional storms.

Take Taiwan High Speed Rail to Hsinchu Station, which is located in Zhubei, or use TRA Liujia Station for local rail connections. Buses and taxis connect Zhubei with Hsinchu City and nearby Hakka villages.

Use taxis, buses, YouBike, or local trains between THSR Hsinchu Station, Liujia Station, New Tile House, and central Zhubei. For rural Hsinchu day trips, renting a car or booking a private transfer is more efficient.

Stay near THSR Hsinchu Station for transport convenience, near central Zhubei for restaurants and business hotels, or in Hsinchu City for more sightseeing and night market access. Beipu or Neiwan are better for rural Hakka village stays.
