Hakone was the absolute highlight of the entire trip. I absolutely loved Owakudani and Lake Ashi. The Hakone Free Pass allowed me to experience all the attractions, which was incredibly worthwhile.

Purchasing the Hakone Kamakura 3-Day Pass electronically was incredibly convenient and easy to use. I just downloaded the QR code to my phone, so there was no need to go all the way to Shinjuku Station to exchange it for a physical ticket. Plus, being able to use any mode of transportation for three days is a fantastic value!

very convenient to get around Hakone for three days with this pass. digital pass needs to show QR code, refresh each time. worth it if you take many rides including buses, ropeway and cruise besides entrance tickets to the attractions

This is a very practical travel pass. Even though I only planned one day for Kamakura and Enoshima and one day for Hakone, I still bought the three-day pass. Unlimited rides on the Odakyu Line and the entire Enoshima Electric Railway line, hopping on and off at any time, are really convenient.

The internet connection is smooth, and the electronic vouchers are easy to use. There's no need to exchange vouchers in a specific location, and they activate immediately at the designated time. Be mindful of the last departure times for Hakone transportation each day. If you miss the last one, you may end up having to take a bus back. To go to Enoshima, you can choose either the Odakyu line or the Enoden line. The disembarkation points are different, but the walking distance isn't far. If you want to go to Kamakura, you can only take the Enoden line, which stops at every station, and it tends to be crowded on holidays.

We used this pass for 2 days to visit Hakone and Kamakura... Day 1: Departed from Shinjuku to Hakone to take the Ropeway and Pirate sightseeing cruise, then took a bus to catch the Odakyu line train back to Shinjuku (don't forget to change trains). Day 2: We used it to go to Kamakura, visited temples, and walked the streets, capturing photos of the various highlights.

The value for money is excellent, but after choosing a physical ticket, I realized that Odakyu's exchange counter service hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. I missed the service hours the day before I wanted to use it, so I could only exchange the ticket on the day of use and couldn't choose a train earlier than 8:00 AM. The advantage is that it includes almost all transportation in Hakone and Kamakura; with one ticket, you can travel everywhere, saving a lot on transportation costs and ticket purchasing time. The downside is that it must be used for three consecutive days, which can be a bit disappointing if the weather is bad.

A very convenient pass to use. You can save money by using this pass as it mostly covers the transportation in these areas. You may do a day tour to cover enoshima and kamakura, then take 2 days in Hakone as this is a little bit crowded so to enjoy fully and to be able to cover more areas.
