🎭 A Must-Watch for Theater Fans! If you love musicals, Finding Mr. Destiny is a highly recommended show to watch in Seoul! This romantic-comedy musical follows a woman searching for her first love with the help of a company that specializes in finding long-lost people. The journey is filled with humor, heartfelt moments, and beautiful songs that make it an enjoyable experience for all. One of the best things about this musical is that there are only three actors—yet they manage to bring the entire story to life! One actor even plays over ten different characters, doing quick costume changes and switching personalities flawlessly. Their vocals, acting, and comedic timing were all top-notch! 🎶 📌 Tip: The show offers English, Japanese, and Mandarin subtitles, but if you need English subtitles, I recommend requesting a seat near the LED screen for better visibility. My seat was in the middle, and since the LED was on the right side, it was a bit tricky to read while watching the performance. If you’re looking for a lighthearted, well-performed, and unique musical experience in Seoul, Finding Mr. Destiny is a fantastic choice! It’s always great to explore the theater scene when traveling, and this show is definitely worth adding to your itinerary.
It was a really special experience! But everyone must remember that the door to the basement next to the ticket booth will only open when the show is about to start. We kept looking for the elevator on the right to go downstairs. The performance venue was B1. As a result, we found that it was written next to the elevator that we needed to take the stairs to go to B1. Later, we found that there was a door on the left side facing the ticket booth that had not been opened! It was really wonderful. Only three actors made the drama very rich! The only thing was that I had to keep looking at the subtitles on the left screen, which made my neck a little sore~
Brilliant show with amazing cast! plot is engaging and actors are played multiple roles well. exchange for ticket at ticket box 30min before the show.
I really like musicals. There are Chinese subtitles so you won’t miss the plot due to difficulty in understanding. The performances of the three actors are also super exciting because the cast members are different every time. You can watch it every time you come to Korea!
Charming little musical, loosely based on the movie with the same name (Korean). Really good experice for musica lovers. Not sure if the captions were accurate all the time, but I was able to understand the plot. The actors were cute and hilarious. Good fun!
A very good musical theater experience, with subtitle translations on both sides of the stage. The actors performed well and there were not many people on weekdays. I sat in the third row.
I absolutely loved this musical. Only 3 actors but pulled off the production to perfection. The set, the costumes and the actors were amazing! As a foreigner the offer subtitles, I used the English option and it works. it’s displayed in small screens to the side and is easy to follow along to. Obviously not every single word is there but all the context needed to follow along is given. I love the humor, the deep message and the talent. So glad I gave it a chance.
A musical comedy depicting the search for first love, where the actors use their singing and acting to bring out the contradictions and confusion of wanting to love but being unable to. The lighting and sound are well done, but the subtitles don't accurately match the actors' performances.
It was great to be able to enjoy the stage while seeing the Japanese translation appear when wearing glasses. However, it's unavoidable that the translation text was quite delayed or there were parts that weren't translated. Even with that, the musical by the incredibly skilled Korean stage actors, with their acting and singing, was worth seeing. The actors who performed comical acts also incorporated currently popular Korean and Japanese songs, which was really fun. My daughter, who watched it with me, liked it so much that she said she wants to see it again!! We were lucky to have the best seats right in the middle. I want to go see it again when I travel to Korea again.
The ticket booth for exchanging tickets is not very conspicuous, and it is not open unless it is close to the time. The overall effect is good. There are screens showing subtitles on both sides, but occasionally the actors will perform off-script and cannot understand it. It does not affect the direction of the plot. It is worth experiencing. It feels like There are many other performances nearby, but if there are no Chinese subtitles, you won't be able to experience them. I look forward to following up.
