With a private car charter service, you have the option of a half day package which includes a 5 hour private car hire, a full day package which includes a 10 hour private car hire PLUS airport transfer, or a 6 hour Lantau package letting you explore Lantau Island - inaccessible to most vehicles without a permit. Serviced by a professional, efficient and English speaking driver, you will have the freedom to plan your own itinerary or if you run out of ideas, let your driver provide you with suggestions for the best and most worthwhile attraction sites or destinations. Your vehicle is a comfy, air-conditioned minivan that can hold up to 6 passengers, perfect for the whole family!
FAQs Q: What routes are included in this activity and can I customize the route? A: Guests can customize their own routes, but half-day and one-day do not include Lantau Island routes. Q: What items are included in the fee and what are the additional fees? A: The fee includes a Chinese/English driver, insurance provided by the operator, 5/8/10-hour charter service, etc.; the fee does not include road tunnel fees, parking fees, attraction/theme park tickets, etc. Q: After the booking is confirmed, when will the merchant provide the driver and license plate information? We booked the 6-seater car for a 10-hour ride to visit temples. Glad that we did. It’s very convenient and totally timely-manageable. the driver was very nice and his driving skill was good. For those who have limited time and want to visit many places in Hong Kong, this will be your best option.

The car was a Vellfire and was extremely comfortable for our group of four. Alex the driver was on time and drove us safely around the city and the countryside. He was very polite and patient and helped us translate our orders to the restaurant staff at a seafood place. We were happy and very satisfied with the service.
The driver was polite, friendly and punctual. We did our trip to the Big Buddha as well as Tai O fishing village, and our driver kept us informed as to our timings throughout the duration, making sure that we were aware of how much time would be needed to get back within the allotted 6 hour time slot.
Renting a car to travel around Hong Kong with a driver is very comfortable and suitable for many people. However, if 3 people sit in the back seat, it will be cramped because the car is not very wide and the roof is low. It is difficult to walk in and out. Inside the car, only the passenger in the front seat and the 2 middle seats are comfortable.
