My friends and I had a wonderful time. We arrived late and I was so worried we wouldn’t get to do the class at all, but the instructor just cut out the soup and the grocery store trip from the end and we were able to make the 3 other dishes. The teacher was very engaging and told interesting stories from Korean culture related to the food we made. The cooking that we did was also easy enough for those of us who don’t really cook regularly 🫣The dishes were also delicious. And she let my one friend who doesn’t eat pork remove the pork from the recipes very easily.
This was an amazing experience Jin Sil was an amazing instructor, gave very clear, easy to follow instructions. We made mandu, japjae, tteobokki all of my favorite dishes. We got a little bite of a history lesson about the dishes. I highly recommend booking this experience with Jin Sil
could not recommend this class enough. I so enjoyed learning how to make the Korean dishes and our guide was even kind enough to take us to the shop and show us what we’d used. she also gave us advice on some treats to take back home! would do again!
I attended a korean cooking class (tteokbokki, mandu, japchae and cucumber jeon) at Sunny’s dining. I really enjoyed the class as I was able to learn how to cook my favourite korean dishes. Besides that, the teacher, Jinsil, is very knowledgeable and patient in her teaching. It was also informative as she shared the history of each of the 4 dishes. To top it off, there were also yummy and authentic korean desserts! Overall, 10/10! (Additional Info: there is also a supermarket tour at the end of the class)
The instructor is friendly and has prepared a lot of work in advance for the cooking class, so the cooking process is smooth and not difficult. Everyone prepares a dinner set for themselves, which tastes delicious. Interesting experience.
Loved everything I made. jinsil was so helpful. I can’t wait to cook this food ar home
Jenny was super helpful and it was a lot of fun to cook all those delicious Korean dishes while knowing a bit more about the culture! at the end of the class we have a tour at a nearby supermarket where the guide explains a bit of the Korean everyday ingredients.
Great experience, he also speaks good German, the recipes were simple and then we ate our dishes... everything was super good. At the end he left us the recipes and took us to the supermarket to show us the products we used.
Our instructor was very friendly and knowledgeable on the dishes we were making and gave us a nice lesson on the origins of them. We even got to see where the ingredients are in the supermarket so we can make it at home. Would highly recommend this!
Jinsil was very informative about the history of the food that we cooked. She was patient and dedicated for us to learn at our own pace. There is also a bonus supermarket tour that includes all the ingredients that you cook with.
