Tokyo Bar Hopping in Shinjuku: Free-flow, Full Dinner, Golden Gai

This bar hopping tour was absolutely incredible to have met different people from all over the world and to connect and share some stories and laughters of our amazing adventure while touring Japan. The foods and drinks on each bar are so good and very appetizing. Our tour guide was excellent providing us some amazing history and stories about the places we pass by in Shinjuku. I highly recommend this bar hopping tour while you’re in Shinjuku.

Fuji-san is a very nice and professional guide, he showed us the most popular places around the Shinjuku bar area. His choice of bars was 10/10, the drinks, the food and the vibes were great! We loved it! The experience was amazing! I recommend it 100%!

It was a lot of fun to meet new people and our guide was very informative. Got to explore some of Shinjuku that I wouldn’t have been able to do on my own because of the language barrier. Great value, food and drink included.

Had a super night with our tour group. Choices of bars we went to during this pub crawl in Shinjuku is so good. . Tak has been a fun and engaging tour guide as well. Great to have been part of this super fun group comprising of new friends who also love fun from UK, Canada and USA!

A fun and easy tour to complete. We got to learn about Tokyo, and our guide Karen was easy to chat with about everything. We sampled various foods and got to try an assortment of alcohol (plum wine stood out the most) and went into places we might never have tried.

This was awesome! had fun with the group and went to cool places we we wouldn’t have found ourselves! our guide, masa, was super nice and energetic. don’t have snacks or dinner, thjs tour serves delicious, filling food. you spend an hour in all 3 places, abd . it’s drink all you can in the second place 😉

We had a wonderful time on the Izakaya Magical Trip with Yosh! Walking through the local streets and visiting different izakaya was such a fun and authentic experience. Yosh was an absolute delight—friendly, knowledgeable, and full of great stories about Japanese culture and traditions. We loved learning little Japanese facts along the way and trying a variety of drinks and dishes we might not have found on our own. It truly felt like spending an evening out with a local friend. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting a genuine, fun, and memorable night out in Japan!

The Shinjuku Bar Hopping Tour was really well put together. Plenty of options for food and drinks at each place which was fantastic. It felt great and safer going as a group with knowledgeable guides as I don't think i would venture into izakayas by myself. That being said both my partner and I noticed on several occassions a 'personality' clash between our two guides. Overall a great experience.

We met up with Kuwa at the meeting point and the fun started! He took us to 3 different places. Each located in a different part of Shinjuku and each place offered a different vibe from one another. Kuwa was very personable and really wanted to get to know us. He taught us a little bit of the history of each area, drinking etiquette and recommended other foods to try. Other tour members were super friendly and we had a great time laughing and sharing our experience.
