Shifen Sky Lantern Experience in New Taipei

It was a very nice and pleasant experience. It's a sunny day, we went there with a tour bus which walked us to the store itself, then we got given the 4-colour lantern and provided with black calligraphy pen to write our wishes, each colour represent a different area of life, e.g. health and wealth etc. We wrote our lantern inside the shop before going outdoor. There are staff using our phones to taking photos and videos of us on the train track and gave us poses to take pictures of the different sides of the lantern.

The store for the Shifen Sky Lantern experience is very easy to spot. The service offered is beyond my expectation and provides excellent value for money. It was a great experience, especially when traveling alone, as the owner of the store offers a complimentary photoshoot and video shoot. A very nice experience indeed.

When you come to Tianxi, you absolutely have to release a sky lantern, and the Auspicious Sky Lantern shop has so many options, plus it's easy to find. This was our first time releasing one of these <sticker sky lanterns>, and the kids absolutely loved it. Besides writing blessings on the lantern, you then use these exclusive Taiwanese-themed stickers to decorate it, which is really fun and makes our lantern stand out from the rest, haha. If you're bringing kids, you definitely have to choose the sticker sky lantern; it's perfect for letting them have hands-on fun, haha. 😍😍😍

We had fun at the sky lantern. We availed of the 4 colored lanterns and wrote down our wishes. It is a wonderful experience. Easy to find the stall and easy to redeem. They will just scan the QR code. This is a must-try experience when visiting Taipei.

We had a great lantern experience in Shifen and booked through Happy Lantern. The photos and videos taken by the staff were amazing, we loved every single one of them. They really knew how to capture the best moments. We also appreciated that they let us be the ones to release the lantern ourselves, which made the experience even more special and meaningful. I went on a beautiful, sunny day. This day trip is one of the best one I have in years! There isn’t a whole lot of walking involved. The bus driver was able to drop us off near the attractions throughout the day. Lots to see and eat. Just make sure to bring more money as many beautiful shops only accept cash. If you get Raymond as your tour guide, simply go for the chicken wings with stuffed stickt rice when he offers to order for you in advance. it’s absolutely delicious! I regret not ordering more!

The experience was great! Since I pre-booked our sky lantern here on Klook, Sophie, our tour guide, told us that the store could also accommodate our booking. That was a good thing, and it was a nice choice for me as well. Also, we bought some souvenirs in the same shop. I just forgot the name of the shop 🤭
