Hwadam Botanic Garden & Namhansanseong & Folk Village Day Trip

our driver and tour guide Michael was terrific! The journey was smooth and he made it easy for all passengers to move around and the timing was just right for the three places we visited. He also explained to us the history of the places that we visited in English and Chinese!

It was a great tour. Although we didn't get to see much autumn foliage, we really enjoyed Hwadam in particular. Lovely walk, interesting monorail and many lovely themed gardens. Helps that we had good weather. Namhansanseong was interesting though to me less imposing than Suwon Hwaseong. Hike is manageable but you get rewarded with a nice view of Seoul. We were guided by Yohan of Licert who did a great job. Would recommend the tour though I find Korea Folk village pales in comparison with the other sights.

Highly recommended tour! I have loved the tour programme and was so satisfied with it I’d like to repeat it. And hopefully I’ll do it next trip! Our day was simply perfect thanks to our guide Enoch. He’s a really nice guy, gave us lot of infos and explanations and also drove us in a comfortable minivan of 8. We walked around the beautiful Hwadamsup garden and then, after a private lunch, we went up to one of the Namhansanseong gate, enjoyed it so much. After, we finished the tour visiting the interesting Korean Folk Village! Thank you Enoch, for our great day together!

It was a great experience for Hwadam and Namhansanseong Fortress. I’m just a little sad because trees were not fully red during our visit, but over all it was a beautiful place. Our tour guide Jun, was very nice and accomodating. You will not hesitate to speak with him, because he always asked if we were okay. A day prior the activity, he messaged me to give instructions. During lunch, he recommended a restaurant that serves healthy and delicious meal. I enjoyed the Tofu Soup and Seafood Vegetables Pancake. He is also good at taking pictures. 🫶🏻🫶🏻

very enjoyable trip to beautiful scenery spots. Sky helps us a lot with easy meeting, good drive, and very polite. He even provide us dinner recommendation and turns out it was splendid. me and my family have a blast. however, this trip is good for healthy people who loves to walk a lot. otherwise, you can request them to give you shorter route.

It was very nice, the namhansanseong fortress is beautiful but the hike was a little difficult so I think they should mention it for elders or people with disabilities or just people who are out of shape 😅 We took the monorail at the Hwadam forest with our guide recommendation and it was a good decision. The walk down was comfortable and beautiful and I feel it was enough.

Had an amazing tour experience all thanks to Michael! His professionalism and friendly character from the beginning made all the difference for us in terms of the entire experience. He was knowledgeable and took initiative and great care to make sure we are all comfortable! Will definitely be more than happy to hop on this tour again! Was lucky to spot some autumn leaves as well.

It was great. A good easy hike to see and experience nature outside of the bustling city. Very relaxing and great experience. Our tour guide Jun also recommended a good spot for lunch which was great!
