What to expect

Day 1: Take a scenic drive through the countryside to Weggis, then ride a cable car to the car-free village of Rigi Kaltbad. Board Europe’s first mountain railway to reach Rigi-Kulm at 1,800 meters for panoramic views of the Alps, 13 lakes, and the Swiss-Midland. Enjoy a hike on scenic trails before returning to Rigi Kaltbad for a stay at a 3-star superior hotel. Relax with a mineral bath at the Mario Botta-designed Mineral Bath & Spa, then indulge in a four-course dinner at SunSet Restaurant

Day 2: Start with a buffet breakfast, followed by an early swim at the Mineral Bath. Take the cogwheel train to Vitznau and enjoy a boat cruise to Lucerne. Explore the Old Town, visit landmarks, and return to Zurich by coach in the evening
