Fuji Shibazakura Festival Bus Tour From Tokyo

Great spot to catch the pink moss , actually pink flowers with Mount Fuji in the background . The car park was about 300 m away. The pink flowers were in full bloom and there was also a Peter Rabbit garden . There was a souvenir shop and many stalls selling selling beef cubes , hotdogs etc. overall one can spend about 1-2 hours here .

The trip went smooth and the driver was polite and friendly. Although Fuji was covered witj clouds and the flowers were not blooming yet, it was a very nice trip. This year is a little cold, since I have been there exactly two years ago and flowers were in full bloom. In few weeks it should be perfect!

Simple to buy via the Klook app, easy to redeem on site. The Fuji Shibazakura Festival is definitely worth a visit if you happen to be in the Kawaguchiko area. The view with Mount Fuji in the background is magnificent but dependent on good weather.

There is a current camera on the Internet to understand the flower blooming status. Tickets are not much cheaper on klook. If you don't want to bother, you can buy them on the spot. I just want to earn some points. The on-site ticket inspection is very loose, and there is not even a separate machine to scan the QR CODE. The staff takes a photo of the ticket on their mobile phone and then writes it off.

Best to visit during the flowering season from late April. We arrive at 2pm and spent about 1-1.5 hours. They have souvenir shops and temporary food stalls on-site. If you visit too early the flowers may not bloom fully. I recommend to follow their instagram page for daily updates with photos of the venue. We visited on 25th April 2025 and the flowers were blooming at 90% with Fuji-san. One downside is parking cost 500 yen even after purchasing the tickets.

It was a rainy day, but even without Mount Fuji, it was still very beautiful, and the souvenir shop was also very good.

It was raining heavily. But the flowers were amazing, with lots of colour. Easy to get there with the Bus Liner. Wished we could have seen Mt Fuji.

It's beautiful, and the Shibazakura Festival only happens once a year, so it's really worth it... It's a good idea to book tickets on Klook so you don't have to wait in line at the ticket booth.
