We visited Jiufen on a weekday afternoon. Although it wasn't as busy as on weekends, it was still crowded with tourists. We made a reservation for this teahouse about an hour before sunset and arrived almost on time. When we stepped into the brick Western-style building, the interior was so quiet that it felt like we were in a completely different world from the hustle and bustle of the main street. There were only a few other groups of customers at the terrace seats, so we were guided to a terrace seat with a great view. The kind staff member carefully brewed the tea in front of us and explained it to us in fluent Japanese. We sipped the carefully brewed tea while watching the twilight gradually fade. We were able to spend a truly peaceful time that soothed the fatigue of our travels. It was so comfortable that we ended up staying much longer than planned, but I think it was worth it.
Fantastic experience for Taiwan tea time with beautiful view. Staff so friendly & have service mind to explain about tea boiling & serving with proper time
Artist Teahouse in Jiufen was such a lovely stop. The atmosphere was cozy and charming, with beautiful views and a relaxing vibe that made the experience feel special. The tea and snacks were enjoyable, and the staff were warm and welcoming. It is a wonderful place to slow down, take in the scenery, and enjoy Jiufen’s unique charm. Highly recommended!
It is a place where you can rest quietly in the crowded Jiufen! The fog was thick so I couldn't see the scenery far, but it had its own charm! The staff who greeted me were very kind and the tea was really delicious. It is a bit pricey, but I don't regret it because I can enjoy the scenery quietly and leisurely. I want to visit again next time. If you enjoy tea, you won't regret it!
This has been the best tea that I have experienced in my entire life! Couple that with the breathtaking view, and you have this magical taiwan experience! 10/10 will come back again!
This is an amazing tea house. The experience was very nice. The people working there were so friendly and helpful. The ambience is tranquil and praceful
My friends and I had a really good time here. The staff was super welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious and the tea even more so! We wanted to book a place with a great view, but we were pleasantly surprised by everything about it. I’ll definitely come back!
Best experience in my Taiwan trip!!! The staff are friendly and accommodating. The place is an overlooking view of another mountain (though when we went there, we had zero visibility due to fog, but it still made the ambience surreal). It is not crowded, so you will really have time to enjoy your tea and biscuits 🫖🍵 The place is clean, authentic-looking, and quiet. 💚💕 I don’t regret booking this! ♥️ Tip for getting there: Go up the stairs, and when you see Ghost Lore, turn right. It’s just a small alley leading to the tea house. It’s on the right side too ☺️
Definitely a worth visit. The tea was totally more than enough for us two and the staff was really nice even though we came too early to our appointment. The location is beautiful. You have a good view and you can a glimpse of peace in there. Lovely experience 🙋🏻
The road to get there is complicated! A little further down from the Jiufen photo spot zone is a square where you can experience horror and a shopping street? From a similar place, enter the alley on the left immediately! Explanations are available in Japanese, Chinese and English. The atmosphere was nice and the scenery was nice. The tea tasted great too! It's good to go with your parents.
