Reviews
This tour is ideal for people wanting to see Ine and Amanohashidate who are staying in Osaka. Zen, our guide, was very informative and friendly. Both places have there own charm. Just beware of the birds when doing the Ine boat trip as they don’t leave you alone! A very enjoyable day. Thank you Zen and the driver.
An amazing amazing trip. Didn't expect my 10 & 15 years old will actually enjoyed themselves so much especially on the Funaya ferry. The eagles feeding part was most exciting part of the entire trip.
Worth the trip to northern Kyoto to see the countryside. Our guide was very informative and was able to speak English, Chinese, and Japanese at the same time! Very accommodating and understanding will definitely recommend this tour especially to those who wish to explore Amanohashidate on your own pace.
My wife and I had a great time on this tour on 12/23. We picked this tour because it only stopped at 2 locations instead of 3 or 4 which gave us a bit more time to enjoy the 2 attractions without being rushed in and out. Also, this tour started at 9am instead of 7:30am or 8am which is perfect for us. The tour guide Paul was professional and helpful; he was able to relate all necessary information in Japanese (there were 2 Japanese tourists in the group), Mandarin and English to the group. It was good that the tour bus stopped at Tamba for a rest on the way to Amanohashidate and on our way back to Osaka. Amanohashidate is very beautiful; we were fortunate to see both the sun and the rain when we were up on the hillside. In fact, one can spend 3 to 4 hours easily in Amanohashidate just to stroll around and walk / bike across the sandbar which the tour guide said would take about 50 mins to walk from one end to the other. The time we spent at Amanohashidate was definitely not enough but we got a taste of the beautiful sceneries. Ine is the 2nd stop for this tour; the boat ride and seagull feeding was a lot of fun; we had a great time there. It would be great if the tour can spend another hour in Ine for the group to walk around the area and take pictures; Ine is simply beautiful. Though there's public transportation that takes you from Kyoto to Amanohashidate and Ine, the tour took away the hassle of making your own transportation arrangement and saved you a bit of walking. We were glad that we picked this tour as the price was decent and it included the return fare for the ropeway and 1.5K yen for lunch which you can get a black curry rice dish and a drink. Also the coach bus was large and the seats were comfortable. I highly recommend this tour.
I highly recommend this trip when you come to Osaka. The tour guide can translate in Chinese, English, and Japanese, so you won't get lost. It's very relaxing to take the tour bus. Amanohashidate is so beautiful. You can also take the cable car or chairlift, which is very interesting. The whole row of Ine Funaya is very beautiful. It's so exciting to take a boat out to feed the seagulls. It's very fun. The schedule is very smooth.
Helpful guide. Our guide was Mr. Kou. He explained each location in detail for us so that can maximise our time and also better experience the locations by knowing a bit of the history. Our boat ride at Ine was cancelled due to strong currents, which according to Mr. Kou was a rare thing to happen. His service recovery was superb even though it was in no part his fault. Firstly, he bought us some snacks from Amanohashidate to compensate for the disappointment. Then, he led us on a walk through Ine where we managed to have a good time enjoying the scenery. At the end of the trip, he asked the bus driver to specially drive us though the Nanba part where there was christmas lights. Overall we had a great time and would highly recommend this tour.
The waiting point at Namba was convenient. Although the travelling distance is about 2hr 45min each way, there is a 10-15mins toilet break along the way. Sufficient time at Amanohashidate via the car lift (or cable car) plus lunch. Ine was lovely fishing village with great fun time onboard 20mins cruise ride to feed hawks n seagull with a 100Yen Calbee prawn chip
Easy to locate the meeting point. Smooth journey throughout. Enjoyed the seagulls feeding and the chair lift . Recommended.
Thanks to the Limon group, we really had a nice trip. Thanks to our guide Miss Naomi who can speak English, Japanese, Chinese. Naomi is really nice, she take good care of everyone nicely and share some Japanese culture with us. Thanks to the driver who drive nicely too. It's unlucky the cruise was canceled, we didn't meet the eagles.
I like how they utilized a coach to transport 10 of us. The entire ride in the bus was very comfortable. We got to explore the area with sufficient time. Tour guide Miss Kelly is fluent English and she provided good information for the visited places. If you’re looking for a relaxing tour with comfortable pace outside Osaka, this would be the one for you. Anw if you want to feed the sea gulls on the upper deck, please bring a raincoat or something because the birds would excrete their goodies on you hahahaha
