It has more content than I expected, and it's hands-on, so I had a lot of fun! There are some things that cost money to experience, such as fossil excavation and gem fishing, but I also enjoyed the free stone throwing and putter golf, but 2.3 hours wasn't enough time!
We went on a Sunday during Obon, and it was quite crowded. The gem-hunting experience is done with many people at once, so the yield is inevitably less than if you were to experience it on a weekday. Overall, it's hot everywhere, so it would be nice to have an air-conditioned rest area.
When I arrived around 9:30, there was a long line in front of the reception, even during Obon. Unlike the original reception, a separate reception was opened for those who paid cash only or had a voucher, and I was able to enter smoothly just by showing the screen there. However, it seems that you can only pre-purchase a ticket with a gem hunt for Saturdays and Sundays, so you can find out by looking at the date of use on the screen just before the purchase procedure. If you overlook it, you're out. It is necessary to check the available date and time on the selection screen. I went to the venue immediately after entering the museum for jewelry hunting, and asked the staff directly to purchase a ticket at the regular price and get a numbered ticket. It would have been even more appreciated if it had been indicated that adults without tickets were not allowed to accompany the attendees in the venue. The staff, especially the male staff, were all smiling and working very hard in the hot weather, and I had a great time.
