Country Side Biking Tour in Langkawi

Guided bike tour through the rice fields and countryside. We saw a lot and learned about the history of Lankawi through practical examples, and all our questions were answered very well, charmingly and kindly by our expert guide Rodhiah (Rodhiah). Then a short trip to a rocky gorge called (a local recreation area) with the opportunity to swim and a tasting of regional specialties. A successful tour that can be recommended. Our guide Mashi was sooooo warm, kind, super lovely and highly knowledgable! Was experiencing some delay in arriving to the checkpoint but she lovingly waited for me! We all cycled through the nooks and lovely little paths around langkawi paddy field and we stopped by to see some interesting flora and fauna and wheww even as a Malaysian myself all those facts and trivias did blew my mind away!!! We discussed on plants and its lore, spotted lots of birds and really have a GOOD TIME! The entire trip was lovely and made me love langkawi and my country Malaysia even more! It also taught me a lot about biodiversities and on how capitalism will ruin all this if our govt are not taking prompt and strict actions:" the final stop at the fountain was refreshing and we ate some delicious kuihs! The only hiccup is that one of our bike was faulty (the tongkat got loose and fell over) and my bike got this kreuk kreuk sound. maybe some lubing and maintenance care need to be given to those bikes :'D

(Pick-up service is rated 5 stars, but it is not actually provided.) Our guide, Iqbal, is very friendly and always ready to answer any questions. My son is a little short for the bike, and at first he needed help to get on the saddle, but Iqbal supported the bike and helped us every time we started pedaling. Iqbal also stopped whenever we wanted to take a photo of a bird's nest, or when we found a termite nest, or when we saw a beautiful bird in the river, and Iqbal stopped to explain. It was interesting to find a type of cotton that is longer and thinner than Japanese cotton and rub it in my palm. It feels a little different from Japanese cotton. We were lucky to be the only family on the tour, so we were able to go at such a slow pace, but the leisurely cycling style of taking breaks without rushing or panicking so that we could blend into the countryside atmosphere suited us well. The gentle slopes leading up to the waterfall require physical strength. We didn't swim at the waterfall, but after playing in the water a little, Iqbal called out to us and gave us some traditional local sweets. It was so delicious that it made me forget all my fatigue. The food was excellent, so I hope you'll take care of your bike. It's really hard to climb a hill without gears!

really appreciate that the company allows me to postpone my trip to the next day since my son not feeling well, and again the next day was 2hrs late as i set my alarm wrongly. even with the reduced duration, the guide still try his best to brief us all the infor about the different types of birds seen, the man-made bird nest house, about langkawi during the 90mins cycling trip. thank goodness for the van which followed behind us for the last 1km cycling up the slope, both my younger son and myself could no longer cycle up and able to catch the ride. that allowed me to head to the waterfall which was the final destination. Was a great outdoor activity and highly recommended to those whom love nature and vitamin D.

This was an experience I never thought I would enjoy. Loved every bit of it. The serene paddy fields and the secret waterfall was the highlight!!

The receptionist was courteous; the service attitude was very good, and he was happy to respond to inquiries quickly.

love the sightseeing and amazing view

not sure if it can be branded as a cycling tour, we stopped every 2-3 mins. total distance was only 9km for 1.5-2 hours, which is actually a very painfully slow speed 😭 $60 for this is rly expensive also. this is a far cry from a previous cycling tour we joined in Vietnam that went into the paddy fields and waterfall.
