Reviews
Our tour in Naejangsan with Tino was incredible. He was fun, attentive, and always made sure his passengers’ needs were taken care of. He clearly explained all the instructions—where to get on and off, where to line up for the shuttle bus, and everything we needed to know to enjoy the trip. Overall, he was truly excellent. We visited during the peak of autumn, and Naejangsan was the best place to experience the stunning fall colors. We hope you still remember us, Tino! We joined your tour on November 11. — Ryan and Rejan from the Philippines
We had an amazing time! The tour guide was very kind and accommodating. She handled situations well and assisted us in all our needs. Instead of a bus, it was a coaster bus making the experience feel more premium. The drive was smooth and fairly fast, kudos to the driver. And the highlight was the view! While the weather was extra chilly and breezy, the temple and autumn leaves made it worth it. The tour itself gives you heaps of free time to personally enjoy the scenery. Overall an amazing experience. Definitely a must try!
Guide was Yoona. She makes sure all of us understands and knows how to go back to the bus parking. She also provided some guidance on the best way to maximize our time in the mountain. Naejangsan itself is beautiful. Autumn colors are the best. Travel time was close to 8hrs, for me, quite worth the travel, however, would probably be better if I stayed in Gwangju area and go to Naejangsan. This way, the mountain can be explored / hiked more.
i booked this tour at the very last minute (2days before actual date of activity), as my other tour which i booked was not gng to proceed. The k-story tour guide mr han, contacted me 2 day before the tour to confirm the pick up point and time. The bus was there right outside myeongdong station exit 2. there were many people on the trip, mr han is trilingual in korean, english and chinese and explained the two routes for the naejangsan to us in English and chinese. i chose the intermediate hike, which at certain parts had upslopes and downslopes and rocky terrain , but the sight of autumn foilage and the hermitage and temple and pavilion was definitely beautiful. mr han went with the first group which went on the easy route and later caught up with rest of the group on the intermediately difficult route and checked in on us and took beautiful photos of us. We met at a korean restaurant outside the naejangsan park and we had to pay for the bibimbap lunch which was okay. overall good trip
I had a great experience exploring the park and seeing the beautiful maple trees. Our tour guide, Mr. Han, was excellent—he contacted us in advance via WhatsApp, kept everyone updated with clear instructions, and answered all our questions. He was always on time and provided helpful information at every spot in both English and Chinese. Highly recommended for future travelers!
I had this tour with Tino. Such a lovely energy and lots of good tips on how to enjoy my time in Naejangsan. Fromt he restaurant booking to the shuttle bus and what to do and how best to enjoy it. Definitely worth the trip. Just comfortable and he made sure we are safe. Naejangsan is a beautiful mountain on fall peak season. I enjoyed my whole time wandering around Naejangsan Park, temple and observatory!
its a great experience, just unfortunately the leaves wasnt full in yellow-orange-red colors. it was the peak time for naejangsan so it took 20mins to get shuttles bus to get to the cable car. and another 50mins to queuing for the cable car. so if you fit enough just go do the hiking things instead waste your time for waiting in the line. dont forget to try the tasteful bibimbap since the area well known for it. overall the tour was amazing, but kinda regret to take round trip cable car since not that much thing you can see on the top. so better to do hiking which you can see more.
I took this tour to go somewhere new for autumn in korea. It was a hard hike, lots of walking involved. The views are fantastic tho. But if you want a milder experience and nearer to seoul, you can go for nami island instead.
a must go in autumn season. This mountain is really very nice and colorful. We had a nice experience. The only thing to note is it needs 4 hours to go by bus, and 4 hours back to Seoul…the time we spent in naejang is limited considering the queue on the cable car up also takes 30mins to 1 hour… but overall view is worth as the view is really very beautiful.
This is easily one of the best tours we have ever attended on Korea! Our tour guide Ricky Yang is very tentative to everyone. The recline seat is the best for such long ride (3.5 hours each way). Timing and weather is just perfect. This is the first luxury bus route they provide. Hope this can be extended to other long distance locations! Highly recommend to everyone!
