Taitung Private Car Tour: Mr. Brown Avenue / Sanxiantai / Duoliang Train Station (From Taitung)

We had a great experience with our private car excursion to Sanxiantai. Booking through Klook was easy and reliable—I reserved on 3/14 for our 3/17 trip. Within a day, their team contacted me to confirm details and inform me of a reasonable surcharge for choosing Sanxiantai as a half-day destination. We received our driver’s details the day before, and on the day of the trip, Mr. Lin arrived within five minutes of the scheduled time. He was friendly, courteous, and never rushed us, allowing plenty of time to fully enjoy the scenery. The drive was about an hour each way, with two hours to explore Sanxiantai. On the return trip, he kindly stopped at a roadside fruit stand so we could try custard apple, and he also recommended and dropped us off at a tasty local fried chicken spot. Overall, we were very happy with the experience and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed and convenient way to explore beyond the city.

Amazing driver! We got a young and fun driver. He was very professional and friendly. His vehicle was clean and comfy. He followed our itinerary and gave us pretty good info about some of the spots. He also catered towards our interests and suggested a few more spots along the way. We had a great day.

Our driver or so called “Sifu/师傅” was an experienced driver. He was so friendly and ready to answer our tons of questions. His driving skill was mature and my family members was very satisfied. The Klook team would contact us a day before our trip and it was total hassle free.

I booked a 4-seater, but a 9-seater Benz came, so I was a little surprised. Mr. Ke, the driver, was really kind and drove safely. Although his English wasn't very good, he used a translator and provided guidance and explanations whenever necessary. He took nice pictures, and the lunch at the Japanese restaurant he recommended was very delicious.

Thank you Sister Ye for taking us to experience the beauty of Taitung, which is not just the scenery on the surface, just like Hu Defu sang: The wind of the Pacific Ocean is always blowing. Following Sister Ye is like riding on the wind, blowing into my heart. Sister Ye said: The soil in Taitung is very sticky. It’s really sticky, I just want to stay❤️

For the second time in Taitung, we chartered a car so that we could go to places a little further away efficiently. We were able to visit Xiaoyeliu, Sansiantai, and the Amis Cultural Center in one day. At first, we were unsure and chose Course C, but they were happy to accommodate our sudden change of plans. We left the hotel in Taitung at 8:00, and of course the driver arrived at the hotel a little before the time. He was very kind and explained things to us using a translation app on his phone. We started from Xiaoyeliu, but since it was a weekday and had just opened, there were no people there yet, so we had the spectacular view all to ourselves, enjoyed Sansiantai at our leisure, and at the end, they timed it to coincide with the Amis stage, so we were very satisfied.

Driver was accommodating to the itinerary that we planned and was flexible with adjustments as well. Was able to recommend a good hotpot place for us and also told us about new places we did not know about (eg. Cat Cave). Gave us fun facts about the views we saw along the way as well.

The car was comfortable, and the driver was polite, thoughtful, and drove very carefully. He introduced the history and natural environment of the Huatung Valley throughout the journey. It was a perfect trip. Highly recommended.

The scenery along the way is beautiful, and chartering a car allows you to have more freedom in time and stop at your favorite spots. The driver also recommended delicious lunch and desserts.
