What to expect
Yokohama is so electrifying and energetic that the entire city feels like a brightly-lit playground. From watching adorable red pandas at the Nogeyama Zoological Gardens to being hypnotized by impossibly intricate model trains whizzing around at the Hara Model Railway Museum or simply exploring the city’s trendiest shopping and cafe streets like Motomachi, you’ll discover what makes Yokohama so exciting.
From browsing 100-yen stores for wacky souvenirs and konbini convenience stores for Japanese candy, your host will reveal things to you and your kids that you never knew existed! And if hunger strikes, you could pop into one of entertainment district Noge’s pocket-sized restaurants for delicious fried skewers of just about anything!
