My recent trip to Cham Island (07:30-15:30) was nothing short of rejuvenating. The bus took us from each hotel and journeyed around 45-50 minutes. We then took a small boat from shore and cruised towards the island. From the moment I arrived, I was enveloped by the island’s serene and unspoiled charm and breathtaking beauty. Crystal-clear waters shimmered under golden sunlight, while gentle ocean breezes carried the scent of salt and blossoms. The locals welcomed me with warm smiles and genuine kindness, offering their localities at competitive prices. We first had a short trip to the local sightseeing (lucky well, buddha temple, school). Communication in English was a bit of a nuisance with our guide, however he overcompensated through his facilitating attitude. We then took another motorboat to go snorkeling on a coral coast where we stayed for 20 minutes. The sea floor was breathtaking. This coral reef isn't just a destination—it’s a feeling. It rekindled my sense of wonder, reminded me of nature’s quiet power, and gave me a peace I didn’t know I was missing. We then headed out with the boat to a near tavern, where we tasted certain local, fresh delicacies (lunch price included, see photos). The picturesque environment, the clean and full of sand beaches urged us to dive again. Finally, we enjoyed a coconut fresh drink down by the beach chair. I left with my heart full and my spirit renewed, already dreaming of the day I’ll return.

After a 30-minute tour of Cham Island with the guide, and a bit of snorkeling, we moved to the lunch spot, ate, and relaxed on the island until around 2 PM. Lunch was just okay. You need to order a drink if you want to relax on a sunbed. I heard that Korean tour companies have parties, but I prefer quiet, so just relaxing wasn't bad. The party-loving crowd might prefer the Korean tour companies.

5 stars. definitely. smooth tour. and the fact that the tour operator considered picking me up even though i wan out of area, that 2 thumbs up indeed. wish we had more time to spend and relax by the beach. 1 hour is not enough. sad

The first hour of the trip it was not very clear what was happening, since there was only a driver who did not speak English. But a guide joined us on the pier and we felt comfortable! a pleasant leisurely tour, an exciting speedboat ride, 45 minutes of snorkeling, a delicious lunch and free time to swim on a beautiful beach.

We saw a lot of fish during snorkeling, the lunch was delicious, and both the guide and the shuttle driver were kind and friendly, so we enjoyed it. The beach itself had a lot of drifting garbage, but it was the garbage we had thrown away, so we were made aware of environmental issues.

this is a rare island to visit. not much people visiting it and recommended if you would like to relax and chill.

Picked up from the hotel. We drove around to various other hotels, picking up about 20 people in total. Headed to a pier near Hoi An. Someone picked us up separately and handed us over to another English-speaking guide. When we got there, there were about 5 Korean teams and a mix of Vietnamese and foreign tourists, about 30 people in all. Took a motorboat to Cham Island. Got off and toured Cham Island. Visited a museum, some shops, and temples, which took about 45 minutes. Took the boat again for about 10 minutes to a beach area. Those not snorkeling got off, and then they took the scuba divers to their diving spot before heading to the snorkeling point. Snorkeling was safe, and the fish and coral were beautiful. We snorkeled for about 30 minutes and saw a variety of fish. It's not quite like the Philippines, but it was fun. Went back to the beach for lunch. The shrimp, scallops, fish, and rice were delicious. Relaxed on the beach for about an hour, had some drinks, and then took the motorboat back. When we arrived at the pier, they directed everyone to their respective bus drivers, but it took a while because they were all different. The bus was full when we got on, and it took some time to get back because it stopped at each hotel, but the bus was cool and comfortable, so we enjoyed the ride. The total trip time, including travel, was 8 hours.

The guide worked hard. Before snow cooling, he explained the village and its history. My kids kept whining about when they would go to the sea ㅠㅠ After looking around the village and temple for about 30 minutes, we went snow cooling. The water at the snorkeling spot is very deep~ But it was nice to see a lot of fish. I put my body in a life jacket. I was very lucky to see a blue starfish! ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ If I give you a rough idea of the schedule, after picking up the car, we went to ride a speedboat for over an hour (I think we were going to Hoi An) - Before getting on the boat, only adults are given a card-type ticket. You can get on after inserting the card - Follow the guide and get on the boat (the speedboat was so much fun) - Look around the village and temple (about 30 minutes) - Get on the boat again (go to the snorkeling spot) - Play with snorkeling for about 30-40 minutes and then go back on the boat - Eat - Go to land by boat - Drop off at the pickup location
