- Mini-train tour: The Beijing Wildlife Park's self-driving exploration area covers an area of over 1,200 mu, with a tour route of approximately 11 kilometers. It features seven major animal exhibition areas, covering different ecological environments from Asia to Africa, and from grasslands to plateaus. Visitors can drive their own cars (self-driving requires an additional ticket purchase, while the mini-train is free) through this vast natural landscape to observe various wild animals up close and experience the wonder and beauty of nature. The tour time is approximately 1 hour.
- Walking Tour Area: You will encounter various animals one by one, including enthusiastic ring-tailed lemurs, adorable capybaras, universally loved red pandas, gentle sika deer, elegant giraffes, and the amazing chimpanzee family. Eligibility
- Children: Children under 1 meter (exclusive) in height can enter for free when accompanied by a ticket-holding guardian. Each ticket-holding visitor is limited to bringing one child who enjoys the free admission policy.
- Students: Applicable to full-time university undergraduates and below (including students from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan regions, excluding overseas regions, and excluding master's students, doctoral students, adult education, and in-service education). A valid student ID must be presented when purchasing tickets and entering the park.
- Seniors aged 65 and above holding a "Beijing Pass - Elderly and Disabled Assistance Card" can enter for free when accompanied by an adult ticket-holding visitor. Each adult ticket-holding visitor is limited to bringing one senior who enjoys the free policy. When purchasing tickets and entering the park, the senior must present their valid identification and purchase tickets together with the accompanying visitor. No discount will be given if identification is not presented.
- Self-driving tour tickets: If driving a private car for a self-driving tour, in addition to purchasing individual admission tickets, a vehicle ticket must also be purchased. Only small cars with 7 seats or fewer are permitted to enter with a ticket.

Convenient and fast! I heard it's more affordable to buy through Klook because it includes the mini-train and animal safari car activities. Luggage storage is also free! There are many diverse animals and you can even interact with them.

The park is massive — definitely too big to walk around, so I’d highly recommend hiring one of the cars to make the most of it. There are so many amazing opportunities to get up close with the animals, which was definitely the highlight of the visit.
It was wet and rainy on the day we went, so some animals were kept inside rather than in their outdoor enclosures. The undercover areas for some animals including the hyena, giraffe and elephant were in quite small cages considering their size, which felt a bit cruel to see. Some areas could also use a bit of maintenance and upkeep. Hardly any shops and restaurants were open. Souvenirs were mainly stuffed toys but you can get an AI photo printed for 1.99 yuan
The Beast Car Tour is absolutely worth doing! You can feed bears, wolves, hyenas, lions, and more — such an incredible experience.

exceeded my expectations turn out to be a fun day trip! be sure to take the beast and train ride and the red panda sanctuary if you like cutesy animals. Nice park to stroll around with beautiful landscape and trees. Toilets are abundant with warm water tap and hot water dispenser. Overall worth it!
