Niseko Cantonese/Chinese/English Ski & Snowboard Lesson
- Established in 2017, Snow and Flow has been providing professional ski and snowboard lessons in Niseko, Rusutsu, and Kiroro. We boast a high proportion of returning instructors who come back season after season, bringing extensive local knowledge and ensuring every guest enjoys a safe, enjoyable, and memorable holiday experience in Hokkaido.
- Our instructors come from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Mainland China, offering instruction in Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, and English.
- All our instructors hold internationally recognized instructing licenses, including CASI and CSIA (Canada), NZSIA and SBINZ (New Zealand), and APSI (Australia).
- We are pleased to offer a one-stop booking service for accommodation and equipment through our partner hotels and gear rental shops.
What to expect
- Since 2017, Snow and Flow has been providing professional ski and snowboard lessons in Niseko, Rusutsu, and Kiroro. As an officially licensed Chinese ski school in Niseko, our returning instructors bring extensive local knowledge and a passion for creating safe, enjoyable, and memorable skiing experiences.
- Participants can choose their preferred language, with instructors available in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Mainland China.
- The instructor will make sure you have a fun and safe skiing and snowboarding experience!
Good to know
What To Bring:
- If you need to rent any of the outfit, gears or protective gears, please save at least 30 minutes to an hour for the renting and fitting process. Instructors could accompany you to the rental shops but it'll be counted as the lesson duration
- Please bring your own skiing equipment if possible
- Water-proof jacket and pants
- Snow clothes and boots
- Gloves, goggles, and beanies and physical protection such as helmet and kneepad are strongly suggested
- Safety is very important. If this is your first time learning how to ski or snowboard, we strongly recommend wearing helmet (both skiing and snowboarding) and other protective gears including kneepad, butt pad, wrist guard, elbow guard for snowboarding
- Double plate ski or single plate snowboard

Luckily, I found an instructor to help me ski. As a beginner, I was able to successfully ski down the mountain with the instructor's help 🥹. The instructor was super patient and very experienced. The instructors were so good and really patient. I used to feel like snowboarding just wasn’t for me and was ready to give up, but He made everything easy to understand and didn’t put any pressure on me at all. He kept encouraging me and helped me build confidence step by step. After just 3 hours, I was already thinking ‘okay, I actually want to get good at this!‘

Jacob (instructor) is professional and very patient, we only staty at hirafu and the family-slope is quite beginner friendly. As a beginner, i recommend to take at least 2days lesson. instructor:
instructor: Bill was our instructor. He was so kind, polite and helpful to us. location: Not too many people in Late March but a little hot and no snowfall. The slope was ok and the scenery view is amazing. experience: We have a wonderful experience in Niseko with this lesson.
we had an amazing time with instructor Kai. he was cheerful, encouraging, patient and we felt really safe learning from him. he helped to take photos and videos of the nice views and for us to review our technique.
A huge thank you to Coach Joanna! The two-and-a-half-day course gave us a lot of guidance and led us to challenge terrains and routes that we usually wouldn't dare to ski. Playing in the powder snow was tiring but also very enjoyable. Hope to see you again next time we come to Niseko!
this is the first of rwo lessons. Jerry (Snow and Flow) was my instructor. Very patient and engaging and try different ways to help you execute the moves properly. The Snow and Flow team was also very responsive and helpful with questions and equipment rental.
