Thanks to the Fujisan Mini Pass, I was able to travel around Mt. Fuji for 3 days. After exchanging the pass at Shizuoka Station, I took the express train to Fujinomia Station. I arrived in 38 minutes. From Fujinomia Station, I took a bus to Lake Motosu. Lake Motosu was the most beautiful of the five lakes of Mt. Fuji. I stayed at Lake Motosu for a night and took the Mt. Fuji Loop Bus to Yamanakako the next day, and then took a bus to Gotemba from there. On the last day, I enjoyed the Mishima Skyway, Fuji Station’s Yume-no-Ohashi Bridge, and Fujinomia Shiraito Falls. When I calculated the total transportation cost, I think I saved almost 4 times the face value of the Mini Pass. I highly recommend this if you’re planning a trip to Mt. Fuji.
We bought this pass for 3 days sigth seeing trip from Tokyo, starting free ride on Tokaido train from Atami. First day we went to Shuzenji area. The day after we went to Fuji Shirai-to falls from Fujinomiya station and afternoon we went to Yamanakako lake by Gotemba train and using Fuji-Q bus loop bus. The last day we started with the first ferry cruise from Shimizu to Toi port and went to Shuzenji onsen again before coming back to Atami.
Fast delivery, took 4 days to receive voucher which can be exchanged at any JR Stations within the area. Just make sure you already planned the day you will start using the pass before exchanging the voucher. Was able to sightsee around Fujinomiya, Hamamatsu Castle and Flower Park with this pass. This is surely a good buy if you are in Shizuoka Area
Exchange locations are limited. You have to plan well. If starting to use at Matsuda Station Must be exchanged at Tokyo Station. Let me tell you that I'm very tired. Wasting time waiting in line for 3 hours. Anyone who likes a slow life, I recommend riding the train several times. Personally, I like taking pictures of Fuji from every angle.
Got an exchange pass to exchange for the real one in Japan. Went to visit Maruko and got a free boat ride across the bay. Pay an additional 500 yen to get a private 2nd class seat, less people, but the train that uses this pass can ride. It will be a normal car. It takes a long time to sit.
You can go to many places, it's really worth it, but you have to look at the exchanges carefully. You can take a boat trip to see Fuji. Just taking the bus around Fuji is worth it. Plus, you can go almost to Nagoya. Buy a few more tickets and you can travel to Nagoya.
This is a pass for people who are going to travel around Shizuoka and the area around Mount Fuji, who have time and are not in a hurry, because you can only ride local trains. But it's very worth it, you can enjoy the view of Mount Fuji for free, ride the bus to Kawaguchiko for free, and ride the bus in Hamamatsu for free.
Easy to redeem at JR Tokai Service Centre, but just need to remember to obtain the physical MCO when arriving at airport.
This ticket is very cost-effective if you can use it. I went to Fujinomiya, around Lake Kawaguchi, and took the boat from Shimizu to Toi. The cost of running in three days was already two or three times more than the original value of the ticket. If you take the bus, you won’t encounter any passengers on popular routes. I declined because I really need to be good at planning. If I can’t take the Shinkansen and want to use it without thinking, it might not be suitable. However, it’s a bit scary that this ticket was not mailed until the day before my departure.
Although this 3-day pass is called a mini pass, it includes so many places that I can’t finish it in 3 days. So the most difficult thing after buying it is choosing the attractions. Shizuoka is a completely new place for me. So this time we were exploring the road, and we only briefly visited a few cities. I will buy this pass again next time and visit other places that I have not planned this time.
