Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium & Kouri Island Full-Day Tour

The guide was very attentive and the tour was very well organized. The transportation was efficient and comfortable. Therefore, the language barrier was not an issue for us, as we don't speak Japanese. The stops were great, and the aquarium is definitely worth it. Only the Nago Pineapple Park doesn't have many attractions and is a bit outdated. It's more of a place to buy pineapple products.

We were cutting it close on time, but we were able to wear Ryukyu costumes at Manzamo. You should allow about 10 minutes walking from the parking lot to the Churaumi Aquarium. Tickets are handed out on the spot, so from the parking lot to the entrance, it's a group activity. If you want to go quickly, you can choose the no-ticket plan and prepare your own tickets separately. The guide will tell you a lot of stories about Kouri Island and other places. At Nago Pineapple Park, you will receive your ticket and then a description of the ticket, before entering. The park is surprisingly large, so to get around in 50 minutes, it's best to walk around at a fairly brisk pace. I was able to go around the route at a brisk pace. There are also shortcut routes along the way, so you may want to go around those as well. At Okashi Goten, we received tickets on the bus. There's something good that happens when you show this ticket at the store. There's hotel送迎 to and from the hotel, which I think is different from other tours, so I decided on this tour. In fact, there were even people participating in wheelchairs. Highly recommended tour.

I had an amazing time on this northern Okinawa tour! The customer service was top-tier—they accommodated a last-minute pick-up change for me and still arrived exactly on time. Both the driver and the tour guide were incredibly polite and courteous throughout the day. The itinerary was perfect for hitting all the main spots. The Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium is absolutely massive and impressive, and we loved the stunning views at Cape Manzamo and Kouri Island, plus the fun stop at Nago Pineapple Park. Highly recommend this tour for a stress-free day with a wonderful crew!

Local tour operator. For almost an entire day, you get to see most of the key attractions outside of Naha. All inclusive transport to and from select hotels. Once you arrive at a destination it is mostly independent sightseeing which is a plus for those who want to explore at their own pace. Exploration tine can be limited at some areas but this is largely dependent on whether the tour is running on schedule or not (sometimes outside of their control). Would recommend if you don't plan to drive in Okinawa. Limited English but you can understand the signs.

Both the driver and tour guide were very professional, and their service was incredibly thoughtful. Throughout the entire trip, they not only provided detailed explanations along the way but also shared many stories about Okinawa's history, culture, and local life, making the journey even more enriching and enjoyable. This experience was truly wonderful, and I will definitely join again next time I visit Okinawa. Highly recommended!

A very good choice if you’re staying for just a few days and want to see some of the island’s most iconic spots. Everything in Okinawa is quite far apart — I was staying in Naha, and the aquarium was about three hours away by public transport. On the way back, we got off in Chatan and explored the American Village on our own. We watched the sunset there and then made our own way back to Naha. Also, keep in mind the island’s heat and humidity — it can be really exhausting. That’s another good reason to join a tour like this one, as they take care of transportation and manage the schedule for each attraction. I recommend bringing your own food, since the short stops don’t give you enough time to both explore and eat at the same place. On the downside, our guide only spoke Japanese, so we missed all the explanations. The only thing that was clear was the return time, which they displayed on a sign.

nice trip, english translator machine wasn’t the best. interesting places in the itenerary, maybe hoped to spend little more time in them and skip the shop completely. Overall would recommed the trip if you don’t have car and want to visit the aquarium and some other nice places too.

One might wonder, will we have enough time to do all the activities? The answer is yes. The timings are well thought out, and in the end, you even have time at the aquarium to see one of the dolphin shows. Just keep in mind, it's better to pack a lunch in advance, because it will be difficult to find something quick to eat along the way, unless you eat at the aquarium.

The one-day tour we booked perfectly matched our first-time Okinawa experience. Our hotel was less than a 3-minute walk from the bus departure point. We arrived 15 minutes early, expecting to wait, but the bus was already there. The tour guide was very friendly, confirmed our names with the QR code, and we boarded immediately. I was truly impressed by the Japanese spirit of service and punctuality. The itinerary was followed precisely, and the driver maintained a smooth and steady pace throughout the long journey. Our only wish was for more time at Miyako Island Beach (because it was so beautiful) to stay a bit longer. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you for everything! 😊

A very fulfilling trip! The tour guide meticulously informed everyone about the precautions for each attraction and the historical stories behind them. Knowing that we, as foreign tourists, had some language communication barriers, they patiently translated the next steps and plans for us. Group tours are inevitably a little tight on time, but we visited many attractions and enjoyed a lot of scenery, missing none of the beautiful sights. The cost-performance ratio and overall experience were very high. We will come again in the future after learning the language better.
