Reviews
The Tasman Island Cruises Full Day Tour from Hobart was easily one of the highlights of my Tasmania trip. Our guide was incredibly friendly, helpful, and informative, making the whole day enjoyable from start to finish. The cruise was amazing—we saw stunning waterfalls, a historic lighthouse, playful seals, and even whales! The boat ride was exciting while still feeling very safe and well-organized. Other highlights included a lovely morning tea, delicious fish and chips for lunch (included), chocolate hazelnut ice cream (extra cost) at the Tasmanian Chocolate Foundry, and visits to the beautiful Safety Cove State Reserve and Remarkable Cave. Every activity was worth it, and I left with wonderful memories and a deeper appreciation for Tasmania's natural beauty. Highly recommended!
Booked Tasman Island by accident went over to the Pennicott Wilderness Centre horbat one day before the trip to change to Bruny Island for no extra charges. Really enjoyed the trip, you get a bus ride from Horbat to Bruny Island (45 mins + 15 mins cross island ferry + 45 mins to adventure bay breakfast (muffin coffee then 2 or 3 hr boat ride ) then 2 or 3 hr boat ride where u get to see Rocks formation, Blowhole and Cave. We are lucky to see Dolphine (rare) and Seal Colony (common) and birds that look like penguin but fly (common) and alot of Kelps and wild abalone on the rocks
One of the must do activities when in Hobart. We were lucky enough as the weather was perfect on the day we did the cruise. Saw many wildlife and the views were just spectacular. Tourguides were very knowledgeable and skillful at driving the boat.
first stop with morning tea (blueberry muffin and OJ) then 3 hour cruise - managed to see seals & dolphins, no whale insight unfortunately. proceed with lunch at lavender farm (main + drink), then sightseeing tour to chocolate foundry, Tasman island lookout/remarkable cave, finished with safety cove beach. highlight will be the cruise, magnificent - photos don’t do justice.
Had a great time viewing the seaside geographical features of the Tasman Island! We managed to see dolphin calves and seals as well. Port Arthur is also beautiful. Just make sure you are prepared that it can get very chilly (late July) on the cruise.
We took island cruise + Tasmanian devil, Cruise was OK - saw some wildlife and views, Tasmanian devil zoo - so so, if you want to see devil (I giess one or two max) or never been to Australian Zoo - that is fine, otherwise so so.
This is one of a kind experience and I HIGHLY suggest doing this. We were picked up from Hobart and drove to Tasman Island. Prior to that we had a nice, well-organized pastry and tea before proceeding to the boat tour. I did not do my prior research for booking this tour so I had no idea that this tour requires my adventurous spirit as you ride a speed boat to see the magnificent Tasman Island. It was a long boat trip so it was super helpful that they gave us ginger tablets to fight off sea sickness which I experienced for a little. Prepare to be wet and cold too, I was glad I wrapped myself properly for this trip. After the boat tour, we then proceeded to Port Arthur for again a well-organized lunch and we had the rest of the time to explore this historic site. Overall, this tour allowed me to have a very memorable experience.
The wilderness cruise gave us Goosebumps… the choppy waters and cold winds ! All precautions were taken by our guides. They also gave us sea sickness ginger tablets as a precaution
Very good day tour. Every aspect of the tour is very well planned and smooth. Stress-free tour...just enjoying. I found it a bit expensive but I think it's worth the money spent. Very informative guides.
Amazing experience. This was the highlight of my Tasmania trip. If you have any doubts booking this, let this be your sign to book it!!
