On this tour, you’ll be navigating a lush rainforest where you’ll get a panoramic view of the entire city and the southern harbor, hike along clifftop tracks for a breathtaking view of the coast and the Tasman Sea, and have a traditional kiwi-style picnic for lunch - all the while being accompanied by an experienced guide who won’t only tell you fun bits about each location, but who will also share trivia about the flora and fauna you’ll encounter along the way. Your day ends with a comfortable drive back to the city proper aboard a cozy tour vehicle.

Due to NZ's cyclone earlier, many of the hiking trails and beaches were closed. However, arrangements have been made and we went to Karamatura Loop walk, Whatipu blacksand Beach and Mount Donald Mclean trail. Whatipu is the only beach open after the cyclone, the view there is stunning. We learned lots about NZ trees and plants along the trails. Breakfast and lunch were included, we chose pies and sandwiches from a bakery and had them for a picnic after the first walk. Juices, teas and cookies were offered during the trip.
