If you are new to Sri Lanka, I bet you will get this tour. However, I think you can do it with yourself with your own motorbike or hire a tuktuk that may cost you half. You can always book tuktuk through pickme app. The itinerary is what it is and snack will be cassava chips, softdrinks/beer and water. I wanted to suggest that the Tuktuk guide at least give me some history of the places.
