I'd like to share my experience with this transfer booking. First, I admit that I selected the wrong route when making the booking. However, I had already entered my hotel, Cape Weligama - Relais & Châteaux, in the order details, so the supplier knew my actual pickup location from the start. Despite this, the supplier only notified me via WhatsApp that an additional $60.20 was required, and this was only about two hours before the free cancellation deadline. I didn't see the message until the next day, by which point the cancellation window had closed, and I had lost the opportunity to arrange alternative transportation. Afterward, the supplier continued to ask via WhatsApp whether I wanted to pay the extra fee via a payment link or in cash. Since the booking was made through Klook, I was unsure if off-platform payments were protected. Consequently, I did not accept this arrangement and instead asked the hotel to help arrange a new vehicle. I understand that selecting the wrong route was my oversight, and I appreciate that the supplier remained polite throughout our communication. However, I believe that if the supplier had notified me earlier about the route discrepancy, especially since they already knew my actual hotel information, it would have given me sufficient time to modify or cancel the order, and the overall experience would have been much better. I have since submitted a request to Klook, hoping they will review this situation. I hope sharing this experience will help other travelers with similar needs be more vigilant, and I also hope the supplier can provide more timely notifications and services in the future.

the driver was on the phone constantly, having loud conversation. he was speeding the entire time and missed the hotel location and offloaded our luggage in the middle of the road. really bad service for the money paid.
