What to expect
Make your own Japanese chopsticks at CRAFT JAPAN Asakusa 3-chome Store, just a short walk from Senso-ji Temple. During this 40-minute workshop, you'll shape natural cedar with a traditional hand plane, smooth it with sandpaper, and finish it with oil. Optional laser engraving is available to personalize your chopsticks.
No experience is required. English support is available, making this activity perfect for beginners and international visitors. Take your handmade chopsticks home the same day as a unique souvenir from Tokyo.
Please note: Guests under 18 must be be accompanied by or have the consent of a parent or guardian. Laser engraving is available for an additional fee. The workshop is held indoors and operates in all weather conditions. Please arrive before your reserved time.
