Guide
- The White-headed Langur Ecological Tourist Area is located in Jiangzhou District, Chongzuo City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, situated within a typical karst landform and rocky mountain forest ecosystem in southwestern Guangxi. It is the core habitat of the white-headed langur, a globally critically endangered and nationally protected wild animal. Chongzuo is therefore widely known as the "Hometown of China's White-headed Langur," a precious destination for popular science education and ecological experiences for nature enthusiasts and families.
- More than 400 wild white-headed langurs live in the park, climbing and traversing among the cliffs, full of vitality. To ensure visitors have the best viewing experience, the scenic area is equipped with shuttle buses and provides binoculars for visitors' use. The best observation times for the monkey troops to descend the mountain for food are usually from 9 to 11 AM and 3 to 5 PM. If you are lucky, you might even see rare golden-colored baby monkeys held by their mothers up close, a scene that is extremely heartwarming and full of wild charm.
- In addition to tracking the rare white-headed langurs, the natural pastoral scenery here is equally refreshing. The tourist area is intertwined with the surrounding vast sugarcane fields, preserving an extremely pristine and pure ecological environment. Here, you can not only observe one of the world's rarest primates, with only over a thousand remaining, but also experience the beauty of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature in the lush greenery. It is definitely a rare and significant ecological exploration journey.
