Nanning Zoo

Nanning Zoo is located in Xixiangtang District, Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Established in 1975, it is a large-scale comprehensive theme park integrating wild animal breeding and display, reproduction research, popular science education, and leisure and entertainment tourism. The park covers a total area of 39.1 hectares, with open terrain and lush green grass, full of the distinctive subtropical ecological garden landscape of southern China. It is an excellent destination for Nanning citizens and out-of-town tourists to enjoy family outings, strolls, and spring excursions.

The zoo boasts an extremely rich variety of animal species, housing over 200 species and more than 2,600 rare wild animals. Here, visitors can not only get up close to the adorable national treasure giant pandas and agile black leaf monkeys, but also see many other rare species such as white tigers, hornbills, and Bactrian camels.
