Mount Mingfeng Scenic Area

Mingfeng Mountain Scenic Area is located in Fengshan Village, Mingfeng Town, Yuan'an County, Yichang City. The scenic area has lush trees and a beautiful environment, with more than 40 attractions such as Yanxia Cave, Nanyan Palace, and Taiyang Palace. Mingfeng Mountain is not high in altitude, but its terrain is steep. There are two paths to the summit, north and south. The northern path is carved into steps, narrow and steep, known as the "Heavenly Ladder"; the southern path is even more treacherous, and a slight misstep could lead to falling into a cliff, which is extremely dangerous.
