Lovely, smooth boat ride with some interesting history- fabulous lunch and the bamboo rice was a nice surprise- highly recommended.
The boat displayed and advertised for the transfer was Tara Prince. It was disappointed to board the Ravy Boat instead. It wasn't luxurious at all. The meal was very simple and barely met expectations. It's hardly a delicious meal. Just one piece of grilled chicken leg and two pieces of pork ribs with a dish of white rice per passenger. Two plates of fruit to share. On board, beer, water and soft drinks were available free flow though. This trip was arranged intended to give a surprise to a couple friends to celebrate their anniversary. Unfortunately, it ruined the mood. They found the trip boring.
It was practically a private cruise as we were the only 2 passengers into Phnom Penh. Great service though!
This offer appears to be a scam. The description suggests that the boat is a luxurious vessel owned by a prince, which is misleading. Instead, we were directed to a regular barque fitted with seats for tourists. When I inquired about the initially advertised service, I was told that the intended boat was broken and this was the only available option. Furthermore, my inquiries regarding compensation were ignored.

We booked this cruise and our experience was terrible. We were waiting for more than 1 hour and half without any update for the pick up at the hotel. Then, when we arrived at the boat it wasn't the same boat as the picture of the booking. At the end of the cruise, we almost had to claim with our luggages to join our car driver as you can see at the attached picture. And no one apologize for anything. We're really disappointed about this experience and it doesn't worth the price.
The tour guide was enthusiastic, but it took too long. The scenery on the boat was average and the speed was very slow. It took four hours by boat and nearly five hours by car. It was too tiring. It was better to fly directly from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap.
The pickup never come and now I found from the local travel agency that Tara ferry boats do NOT exist any more, the Company has folded! It is very irresponsible of you to sell me a fully confirmed booking and asked me to wait for the pickup which never meant to come . I demand an apology and a full refund KIANG
Nice slow boat from Phnom Penh to Siem reap. Lots of time to see the local life along the River. Sadly there was a long drive of a lot of nothing.
