The ocean in Ishigaki Island is truly beautiful! If you don't have a rental car, I highly recommend joining a local day tour like this one. The driver uses translation software, so even if you don't speak Japanese, communication won't be a problem.
Everything was well-arranged. Our driver, Mr. Kobayashi, picked us up right on time. Although he primarily spoke Japanese, he was able to communicate with us a little in English, recommending delicious restaurants and pointing out various plants and flowers we saw along the way. He would take us to the ticket counter at each attraction and hand us our tickets before leaving. We thoroughly enjoyed this half-day tour and highly recommend it.
It’s worth it; you can explore the area around the island and visit key spots. I got a bit confused because that’s the pickup point for several different tours, and even though I arrived on time, I didn't see the driver with the EasyGo sign—but they did come back for me. It’s a great option for touring and getting to know the island; I recommend it!
The driver arrived at the meeting point right on time and was very kind. We had plenty of time to leisurely explore each attraction, making for a perfectly paced and fulfilling itinerary. Highly recommended! 👍 At Kabira Bay, I suggest taking a glass-bottom boat ride to see the beautiful underwater world and sea turtles.
Guide Sakihama is a truly kind and helpful person. They explain things well and are very supportive, assisting us until the very end for our next itinerary. I highly recommend them.
There was a good amount of free time. The monkeys 🐒 were so cute and adorable. We paid extra to feed them. It's a shame we didn't get to ride the glass-bottom boat at Kabira Bay.
The Japanese tour guide was professional and thoughtful, even providing umbrellas when it rained. They translated information about the attractions and the scenery along the way into Chinese, which was truly wonderful.
There was a small mishap; I accidentally switched tours with someone else and ended up on the wrong tour bus. However, the driver was incredibly kind and waited for 25 minutes, even though he didn't know what was happening. Fortunately, I met some enthusiastic Hong Kong compatriots who stayed in touch, allowing me to complete the entire journey.

- This tour does not include a tour guide. A Japanese driver will be waiting at the meeting point with a sign. Please look for the [EasyGo] sign.
- The minimum number of participants for this tour is 4 people. If the minimum number of participants is not met, the tour will be canceled, and you will be notified in advance via email. Please check your inbox (including spam).
- This is a shared tour, and a Japanese driver will provide service throughout. There will be no accompanying tour guide. If the number of participants is less than 10, a 5-seater taxi or a 10-seater Hiace van will be arranged depending on the number of people. We appreciate your understanding.
- Infants aged 0-2 can participate for free (without occupying a seat). Each adult can bring a maximum of 1 free infant. A child fee will be charged for the second infant and onwards.
- Even if you are staying at a hotel that is not a meeting point, you can still participate in this tour, but you will need to go to the designated meeting point on your own.
