Even those who can't swim can confidently participate in this activity. It's natural to feel a bit nervous the first time, but Mr. Kobayashi patiently explained each step and safety measure, which put us at ease. Mr. Kobayashi, the diver, and the boat driver were all very friendly. When entering the water, you might feel a slight ringing in your ears (this varies from person to person), but it doesn't affect the activity. Once you're in the ocean, it's like entering a new world, and any initial nervousness disappears! The weather on the day we participated was cloudy, but even so, we still encountered beautiful schools of fish underwater. We spent about 20-25 minutes in the water. The diver will help take great photos! Your neck and head will mostly stay out of the water, so even if you're wearing makeup, you can participate with confidence! Highly recommended! 👍🏻
We applied at 3 PM and proceeded with the tour. If you contact them in advance, they will pick you up at the designated pickup location. Upon arrival, you'll briefly fill out a consent form, and if needed (when the water is cold), they provide diving suits (?), water shoes, and bottled water. (We wore swimsuits under our regular clothes and brought towels; you just put the suit on over your swimsuit.) There are three staff members who accompany you: one main guide, one who goes underwater with you to take photos, and one who manages the equipment on the boat. Everyone was incredibly kind, and the main guide, in particular, spoke excellent English, so there were no communication issues at all. I can't swim at all and am afraid of water, so I was nervous when I first got in, but once I was in, I realized it was a truly new and mysterious world, and I was glad I did it. We walked on the seabed for about 20-25 minutes, observing the fish, and it felt like being in a natural aquarium. We saw colorful, fascinating fish right before our eyes, and I even saw Nemo!!! They sprinkle a little food to naturally attract the fish, haha. I'm afraid of water and have never even tried scuba diving, but thanks to this tour, I was able to get some amazing photos that I'll cherish forever. After the tour, if you wish, you can shower at a nearby unmanned paid shower facility. We paid 500 yen per person just to rinse off the seawater. The tour location was the Euglena Ferry, so after it ends, it's perfectly convenient to do some shopping, have dinner, and head back! I was a little worried since there were no reviews when I booked, but I am extremely satisfied!!!
This was an excellent activity experience. Yuichi-san and his team were kind and friendly, carefully explaining everything we needed to know about the activity. Nakamura-san, our diver, accompanied us throughout, helping with photos and making the process enjoyable. The chosen dive site had clear water, allowing us to see various fish. After the activity, all photos and videos were sent to us for free, and the shots were professionally taken. This experience deserves a five-star rating and comes highly recommended!
Great experience, worth trying for all beginners. It would be even better if there was a Line contact service.
