Snorkeling Experience in Ishigaki Island, Okinawa

I never imagined this would be the highest quality half-day tour in all of Southeast Asia. The water was crystal clear, and we saw so many corals and fish. A half-day was just the right amount of time, and the guide was friendly and even drove us back to our hotel. Highly recommended!

It was truly the best!!!! The staff were incredibly kind, and even though we were the only Koreans among all Japanese guests, we had such a wonderful time! Even with limited Japanese and English, we communicated using a translator, and everyone was so warm and friendly!! I thought we'd just jump into the ocean in our swimsuits for snorkeling, but they even provided wetsuits, so we stayed warm while watching the fish!! They guided us safely until the very end, making our first trip to Ishigaki incredibly happy and memorable!!👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️

A fun half day out. it takes about 20 mins to get to the first site - Phantom Island - for a swim and some photos on the sand bar. Then another 15 mins or so to Coral Point. The snorkelling on the coral reef here was fantastic and there were lots of fish. The team doesnt speak much English but used whatsapp translate to communicate with any non-Japanese speakers

it was my first time snorkeling and I felt safe and had a great time exploring the coral reef in Ishigaki. The guides were lovely and did their best to communicate in English, as I don’t speak any Japanese.

I went with my 10-year-old, and even though neither of us speaks English or Japanese, they kindly explained everything. We were the only two Koreans there, and even though I'm a total beginner at swimming, the staff stayed with us and took care of us. We saw sea turtles twice, and the water was teeming with fish. It was a half-day tour, but I wish we had booked the full-day option. I highly recommend it. Equipment: They rent out everything. You wear a wetsuit instead of a life jacket, which is a bit difficult to put on and take off, but it's better than a vest. They also rent out flippers and goggles. Safety: If you stray too far, the instructor will tell you to stay close. They seem to keep checking on beginners like me who are worried. Listening to the experts is the best thing to do. Experience: If you go to the shops they tell you about, they'll check your wetsuit and flipper sizes, and then tell you to follow them in your car (rental car). After about a 5-minute drive, you park at the harbor and board the boat - after about a 30-minute ride, you'll have about 1 hour of water activities - 10 minutes of rest - another 1 hour of water activities - 30 minutes to the harbor. We took the boat back around 8:40 AM and arrived around 11:40 AM.

I was nervous because it was my child's first time snorkeling, but they provided close supervision so both my child and I could enjoy it. My child had so much fun, and even though there was a language barrier, we communicated well just through eye contact. I was anxious because I booked the day before, but we had a wonderful time. The staff were incredibly kind, and the snorkeling was so much fun. My wife is afraid of water, but she wanted to try it, and they guided us so well and supported her the whole time we were in the ocean, which made it reassuring and enjoyable! This is an absolute must-do activity if you come to Ishigaki!

We're a Korean couple!. The staff were so friendly and great. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't good, but we still had a fun time!. We want to visit again next time when the weather is nice!
