2-Day Classic Zhangjiajie: National Park, Glass Bridge, and Tianmen Mountain (Boutique Small Group Tour)

We had a wonderful experience. Beautiful tour. We really didn't have to worry about anything during our tour. Well organised with hotel pickup and dropoff, transportation, and friendly guide. We would however have liked to get more information and explanation about the places we visited.

For our two-day tour, it was just the two of us plus one guide both days 🤣 It felt like a private tour, which was wonderful! Our guide for the Forest Park on the first day was Mr. Liu, who has 18 years of experience. He was very attentive and took great care of us, offering us fruit and snacks along the way; he was incredibly hospitable. His extensive experience meant he explained everything to us at the right moments and even proactively found the best spots for photos. On the second day, our guide for Tianmen Mountain, Mr. Tian, was newer and a bit quieter, but he was also very polite and able to answer all our questions immediately. Overall, the experience was excellent! 🤩

Day 1 – We had a wonderful start to the tour. James was attentive and experienced, adjusting the pace to avoid heavy crowds and long queues. He shared just the right amount of information, with interesting insights both during the tour and along the journey. Day 2 – A more relaxed day with fewer crowds. Riaya was warm and friendly, often offering to take photos, though she shared less information compared to Day 1. It was a pity we couldn’t fully enjoy Tianmen Mountain due to the rain, but it was still a lovely experience. Overall, I would recommend this 2-day tour. The small group size made it easy to manage and more enjoyable. Hotel pick-up and drop-off were convenient and well organized. The Avatar Mountain visit felt a bit rushed due to crowds, which is understandable. Do check inclusions and exclusions to avoid extra costs. The glass bridge activities were fun with a small top-up. One suggestion: bundling extra fees in advance could help save time.

We give five stars for an unforgettable trip! The itinerary was event packed and well-paced, ensuring we saw everything without the usual traveller stress. Our tour guide, Rona, was exceptional! She is both knowledgeable and incredibly thoughtful about our needs. She also helped to take amazing photos! Everything from the hotel pick up to the attractions all surpassed our expectations, and there were no hidden fees which also is great. I’ll definitely be a returning customer if we visit again!

The itinerary was well-planned—not too rushed or exhausting. The underground river boat ride in Huanglong Cave was a unique and memorable experience. The glass bridge at Grand Canyon was both thrilling and fantastic for photos. The Qiankun Pillar in the Forest Park really looks like the floating mountains from “Avatar”—it's breathtaking. Every spot had its own wow factor. Sadly, we did hit a bout of bad weather, and was unable to see Tianmen Mountain in all its glory, but that was uncontrollable. Our tour guide was warm, friendly, and very patient. There was zero pressure to buy anything throughout the trip. The guide took amazing photos for us and showed us the most fun activities. She gave us recommendations for local restaurants and the food was great. Overall, it was hassle-free, fun, and full of unforgettable moments. No hidden tricks or bad surprises. If you're planning to visit Zhangjiajie, don't hesitate—go ahead and book this tour! You won't regret it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Zhangjiajie Scenic Area was absolutely breathtaking—truly one of the most unique landscapes I’ve ever seen. The towering sandstone pillars, misty mountains, and lush greenery felt like stepping into another world. Even with just a 2-day tour, we were able to explore the major highlights, and every spot was worth it. What made the experience even more memorable was our guide, Janelv. She was incredibly accommodating, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making our trip enjoyable. She went above and beyond—adjusting the itinerary when needed, helping us avoid crowds, and making sure we were comfortable at all times. Her friendly attitude and deep knowledge of the area really enhanced the whole experience. Overall, the tour was well-organized, smooth, and unforgettable. Highly recommended, especially if you have a guide like Janelv who truly cares about her guests.

Yuki guided us through the Zhangjiajie national park and nearby mountains. Though her English was limited, she was very familiar with the region and happy to help. We cut through a lot of lineups and took countless buses to the sites. I couldn't imagine having to figure it all out myself so definitely saved a lot of stress trying to plan it all myself. The highlights were the Tianzi mountains and the ZJJ national park. The second day, I had Cherry guide us and her English was limited but she had a translation app and I also used google translate to help. She had a big heart to ensure we had a happy experience, even staying 2+ hours longer to ensure we were able to see the Tianmen lightshow and also was able to see parts of the park which I wouldn't have noticed myself. Guigu Plank Road was the highlight of the second day. The vastness of the park and the thin walkway along the cliff was breathtaking and scary at the same time. Cherry showed me more than I could see myself.

Our trip to Zhangjiajie was unforgettable, and what touched and satisfied us most was meeting our excellent tour guide, Yang Tian. She is young, cheerful, and enthusiastic, treating every member of our group with great care and thoughtfulness. Even before the trip began, she communicated with us constantly, offering thoughtful advice in advance to ensure we were fully prepared, making the entire journey smooth and worry-free. During the trip, Yang Tian always provided timely updates on arrangements, patiently answered our questions, and gave us detailed explanations of the local customs, as well as Chinese culture and history. This allowed us to not only see beautiful scenery but also gain a wealth of knowledge. Her professionalism and dedication made the entire journey more enriching and meaningful. What was even more touching was her meticulous care for us, as if a daughter were looking after her family. This made us feel incredibly warm and secure. We feel very fortunate and grateful to have met such a guide. Yang Tian made this trip exceptionally wonderful, and we wholeheartedly recommend her to all visitors coming to Zhangjiajie!

We visited Zhangjiajie and booked a two day tour and it was such a great experience. On day one we explored the National Forest Park and on day two we went to the Glass Bridge and Tianmen Mountain, all absolutely stunning. Our tour guide (周游天下导游覃章辉) was amazing and super easy to get along with. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the tour felt very flexible. We could stop wherever we wanted, take our time and spend longer at places we really liked without feeling rushed. He was also incredibly knowledgeable. Honestly, there wasn’t a single question he couldn’t answer. 我们的导游（周游天下导游覃章辉）非常棒，而且很容易相处。他总是尽心尽力，行程安排也很灵活。我们可以随时停下来，慢慢欣赏，在真正喜欢的地方多待一会儿，完全不会感到匆忙。他知识渊博，真的，没有他回答不了的问题。 There were only two of us on the tour, probably because it was off-peak season, which made it feel really personal and relaxed. Everything was well organised, smooth and stress free from start to finish. Highly recommend this tour if you’re visiting Zhangjiajie and want to explore at your own pace with a great guide.

Our tour guide - 田可儿. Our tour guide was exceptional throughout our Zhangjiajie journey. She advised us to start early to beat the crowd, which made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Along the way, she explained the history, the names of each mountain, and the stories behind them with great clarity and passion. Despite the rainy weather, he thoughtfully prepared raincoats and shoe covers for us. She also helped take beautiful photos at the best spots and handled all our ticketing with our passports efficiently. His professionalism, care, and knowledge truly elevated our trip and made it unforgettable.
